Floor joists are done but I’ve got sleepers to add on top of them. Plan is to use rubber pavers (probably?) for the floor.

 

 

Then to start on the roof.

Subfloor is done. Rubber pavers will go down for good once the roof is up. Started figuring that also. Got the first joist done for the template.

Raining off and on so I didn’t get too far today. Taking shape though.

I like when there’s a mental image of something just being there and then one day it is. I’ve pictured this little deck for years now! Floor tomorrow. Maybe start on a railing this weekend too? I need to run conduit for an outlet and then I’ve got some additional steps to add behind the house.

Perhaps… we already got a good rain after I wrapped up for the day. I’m sure there’s going to be all sorts of add-ons once things get settled.
