The Failed Comanche Flip

So I've been following a particular longbed, 2.5L (AC EQUIPPPED!) 4spd Comanche out of upper South Carolina for about 15 weeks or so. The poor thing was for sale on the side of the road for $2000 with a large dent in the bedside being the only visible flaw. It has 103k miles on it. At this point, I considered buying it just for the AC parts. I Should have, but I waited that extra day...aaaand it was gone. A mere week later, the truck shows back up in a nearby SC town, but listed for $6000! Mind you, it was photographed in a parking lot without having been washed, same dirty interior, but now....temp tags in the window. LOL. I messaged the seller just to be a jerk, "Good luck." Is all I said. Over the next 14 weeks, I watch the price drop: 5k, 4500, 4k, now only $3699! Well, that listing is still up (1st attached listing), but the truck is again for sale for $4000 at a nearby used car lot (2nd attached listing). This situation is just comical to me this point. Maybe I'm just jealous I didn't end up with it for 2k or less...anyway.

Is it just me, or are the pics angled to minimize the appearance of that driver side dent?

The car lot ad certainly does minimize the size of the dent, especially in the late afternoon lighting. The original seller posted proper pictures, and listed it at the fair price of 2k. Wish I could still find that old facebook marketplace listing just to complete this story.
