It was presented as a Cherokee conversion on the two door Cherokee forum. And something does not look right behind the pillar vents? Too cut off, but could be the picture.

found it!  this is a stretched MJ with 2-door XJ doors    (or more likely a 2dr XJ merged with an MJ)

That first picture is definitely just a 97+ swap Comanche.  The roofline above the windshield is of an MJ, the XJ roof doesn't raise up like that, compare it with the truck Pete posted.

I agree that it's just a 97+ swapped MJ. But the background does make it look kinda funny around the back of the cab.
