you mean beyond the link in my signature?

Yeah, the list is great but is mostly how to fix or modify components. This would be the source files for people to create their own mud flaps, rubber tailgate pieces, switch trim covers, tailgate handles etc.

Pete, I like the idea of creating a separate area specifically for drawings, templates, 3-D printer files, etc.

If it's too much work to add a new area to the forum, what would you guys think about creating a new sticky thread at the top of this discussion area and using it only to post drawings (NO discussion, questions, etc. -- just drawings, or links to files)?

this is probably how it would work best given our constraints being a forum.  :L:   Discussions can probably be allowed as long as the first post continually gets updated with the new files as they become available.

@ghetdjc320, would you like to start one?  that way you can help organize everything into the first post as new ones come in.  :L:

i respectfully submit that the thread should be nothing but a repository for drawings, or links to drawings. As soon as it's open to discussion the information will get buried in the noise.

I've watched exactly that happen in a 1911 forum, in a thread that was supposed to be a repository of information about magazines. At this point ... good luck sifting through the detritus to find the data.

even if all the drawings get copied and inserted into the lead post?  It requires a bit more work, but allows for a free flow of discussion but you don't have to peruse anything but the first post to get the info.   :L:

That approach worked out well in the apparel discussion.
