Wanna get rid of some of the clutter in the engine bay. A list of things that can be deleted and replaced with better parts would be cool. Thanks

You can replace the battery cables with better ones.

i removed all the emissions related stuff on mine: vacuum lines, canister, removed all the related wiring, solenoids... of course no emissions test where i live...

also there was no AC compressor so everything related to it is gone, i don't like to breath cold air anyway...

Part and parcel of the MJ being a small vehicle - the engine bay isn't very big. Everything in there has a purpose. You may not like that purpose (emissions) but it's all got a reason for being there.

The only "open" engine bay you're gonna get in one of these is an absolute stripper with a 2.5. Emissions equipment and A/C are the only things you really can just get rid of. I wouldn't.

You could get rid of power steering on the 2.5L too and just have it be like an old optionless vehicle.

Can you even retrofit an electric steering pump to our trucks?

Lol fair. I wouldn’t suggest electric steering anyways. To many problems with some of them.

Yes.

Also wouldn't suggest it unless you were doing an electric "EV" conversion.
