Yeah, soldering irons back from when they were actually irons...  As in a chunk of metal (iron) that was heated up in a fire and then used to melt the solder.  Much like early clothes irons were also just a solid chunk of metal.

Ok CC, obviously a dual ended socket for something, but WHAT, and there has to be a reason why it’s so long...?

Initial look = lug wrench for a deuce and a half. One end did the hex lug nut, the other would remove the squared-headed lug nut that secured the inner tire of the rear duals.

 

Length is to reach the hex nut on the rear duals.

 

So...is the other end square?
