As in a chunk of metal (iron) that was heated up in a fire and then used to melt the solder. Much like early clothes irons were also just a solid chunk of metal. SVPete Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 Initial look = lug wrench for a deuce and a half. One end did the hex lug nut, the other would remove the squared-headed lug nut that secured the inner tire of the rear duals. Length is to reach the hex nut on the rear duals.
