Is a renix to obd1 swap worth it?

Recommended Posts

I found a 92 Comanche swb Aw4, 4wd with a 44rear with 75k miles beyond fixing. I’ve negotiated it down to a price I think is fair. I was looking at possibly picking it up to swap the drivetrain into my 88 swb 2wd 4.0 ba10 Dana 35 truck. I would be keeping my truck 2wd and swapping in a 2wd Ax15 if I can friggen find one. At the moment my truck has no issues and runs great as it is and regularly gets 19-23mpg. Just looking to upgrade. I guess my question is, is it worth the trouble?

Leave it alone.

you mean dana 44?

buy it and keep it for future upgrade if the renix dies

Yes I meant Dana 44. 3.55 and he claims it’s a lsd. I have picture evidence it’s a 44 at least.
