onebigmj Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I found a 92 Comanche swb Aw4, 4wd with a 44rear with 75k miles beyond fixing. I’ve negotiated it down to a price I think is fair. I was looking at possibly picking it up to swap the drivetrain into my 88 swb 2wd 4.0 ba10 Dana 35 truck. I would be keeping my truck 2wd and swapping in a 2wd Ax15 if I can friggen find one. At the moment my truck has no issues and runs great as it is and regularly gets 19-23mpg. Just looking to upgrade. I guess my question is, is it worth the trouble?
Minuit Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 No. I don't really think a Renix to OBD 2 swap is worth it.

75sv1 Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I think there are some swaps with the Ford manual trans. I did take out the Renix wiring. I do have '95 wiring waiting to go in. I would keep the Renix wiring.
