ANOTHER jeep trip!

I'm headed north to center city,MN to Dirtbound Offroad again. November 29-december 3.

I'll be in my short bed dodge pulling my 18' car hauler with my XJ on it.

Not a whole lot of room or a whole lot of extra time, but here's my route....

Does anybody along the way need a hitch, or seat brackets or rollbar brackets or anything?

Or need anything hauled north or south?

I'm going to Dirtbound to meet with Max again and talk over some ideas on parts and things. I'm picking up some bumpers hes got for me and I'm using his lift to install his 3 link kit and I'm lifting my XJ more while I'm at it.

Hes got a lot of information and I've got a lot of stuff he wants to hear also.

Should be a fun weekend. Might do some wheeling. Hope it's not too cold.

You’ll be rolling right past Madison, WI. Heads up, the interstate has been under constant construction between Madison and Janesville for the last few years. Lots of lane changes and stuff to look at when you roll past.

I’m not too far from the interstate, 30 min or so and I could help if you get in a pinch and need a hand. I’ll PM you my cell.

Have fun!

This is 99% off topic...

After reading Neil Gaiman's American Gods, I wanted to visit House on the Rock in Wisconsin.  I attended the Jeep Jamboree in Northwoods this year and stopped there on my way home.  Google it, and if it's up your alley, it's not too far out of your way.

Ask Max if they will ever start offering his bed rack as a DIY weld up kit and to make the steel flares go further down the fender to actually stop mud..

Ill price out the tube rack as a kit. would you want the part that goes over the roof or make that separate?  Unfortunately the flares probably won't go further down as people won't pay what the extra work costs.

Separate, would be great; just the bed tubing. I guess the point of a flare for me is to deflect mud haha. i see all these flares out there, and none of them actually stop mud from covering the door and windows.

Last nights mini project up here... starting the 3 link. Gonna tear the XJ down tonight and really start on it.

Max and I have been talking alot about his business and how everything works and "behind the scenes" of it all. It takes a lot to keep up with demand when you're such a small shop but you're in the top 3 manufacturers of good looking, quality MJ/XJ parts! 3fcb177dce40fa59e352da97dedc7170.jpg
