johnj92131 Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 Congrats, I retired 2+ years ago. Lots of traveling the first year. Lots of medical problems for spouse the second year. Behind us now and back to travel. Thailand was wonderful! Time to do what you want to do. Go for it.
HOrnbrod Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 John, you couldn't pay me enough to go back there, or anywhere else in Asia. Spent almost 30 years traveling around the Pacific Rim for Uncle as a civilian. I imagine it's a lot different though if you're on vacation.
13 Legion Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 I would go back to Pattaya Beach in a second had an awesome time there. Heck even back to Okinawa for a week or two!! Now SWA... Saudi Arabia,Kuwait and Bahrain I think I would take a pass.
