Also went to look at an MJ that was about 15 minutes away from my house . Rust free except for the floors , rather straight , black interior / good rear bumper etc .Picked it up for $600 , once I get it home I'm going to see the extent of the rust and see if it's a parts truck or a fixer upper. More pictures to come once it's home

It's straight and mostly rust-free. Of course it's a fixer upper. As the saying goes, they don't make 'em like that any more.

Knowing Stroker, I doubt there was any luck involved. He works very hard to search and source these finds.
I know! I need connections and people skills like that! I don't know how to find other people with hidden treasures!

Cleaned it up and took a couple more pics ... Need to sort out the floors and fuel pump /sending unit . Really a shame that the floors are rotted, it's a nice truck otherwise.

That's passenger side, yes?  A bit unusual.....it always seems to be the driver side that rots out like that.

Is there a leak (winsheild, HVAC, etc) that's obvious?  The complete lack of rust/rot on the underside otherwise seems to imply that.

I haven't gotten that far as of yet , hurt my back again yesterday and had to stop working on the jeep . I will of course check to see if there is a leak for sure .

Made an 8 hour round trip and scored a bumper/ tailgate / tape player/ horn button and coil / module . These parts have been in a storage unit for about 30 years , he has more of the unit to go through and look and see if there are any more XJ/MJ  parts
