Strokermjcomanche
Made an 8 hour round trip and scored a bumper/ tailgate / tape player/ horn button and coil / module . These parts have been in a storage unit for about 30 years , he has more of the unit to go through and look and see if there are any more XJ/MJ parts
Strokermjcomanche
Also went to look at an MJ that was about 15 minutes away from my house . Rust free except for the floors , rather straight , black interior / good rear bumper etc .Picked it up for $600 , once I get it home I'm going to see the extent of the rust and see if it's a parts truck or a fixer upper. More pictures to come once it's home

mjeff87
How is that MJ not reduced to a large pile of rusty scrap, being that it's in Ohio?

Strokermjcomanche
Cleaned it up and took a couple more pics ... Need to sort out the floors and fuel pump /sending unit . Really a shame that the floors are rotted, it's a nice truck otherwise.

mjeff87
That's passenger side, yes? A bit unusual.....it always seems to be the driver side that rots out like that. Is there a leak (winsheild, HVAC, etc) that's obvious? The complete lack of rust/rot on the underside otherwise seems to imply that.
Pancho975
Those rails on the bed are pretty cool! Are those OEM, never seen em before?

I will of course check to see if there is a leak for sure .
