[AL] 1987 LWB 4WD Part Out - Black Interior with Bench, Column Shift

Alexia

Recommended Posts

I am parting out a LWB 4.0L automatic 4WD with 191,000 miles located in the Huntsville, AL area. I will be traveling to the York, PA Jeep Show this week to sell the parts there. If you are along I-75, I-40, I-81, or I-83 on the way there on Wednesday 07/12 I can meet up to make a hand off.

Complete black interior with bench seat. The interior is dirty, but otherwise solid. The driver's door handle/rest is a little flimsy and the tilt column is floppy. I will provide the carpet, but I REALLY recommend installing a new carpet.

$200 - I am going to spray all the loose plastic parts down today, but I am making this cheap in comparison to the usual $500 range I see posted because you should expect to do some cleaning still.

Ran, drove, and stopped before I pulled the fuel tank. It was sitting in a field for some number of years and is entirely rusted out. The only good hard body parts are the hood and cowl cover. Tail lights exist with some silver over spray.

Any other parts just toss up a post asking. Under hood looks decent, but covered in the usual oil leaks.

$100 for the entire drive train including a free drive train stand. That's right, pick up the entire carcass for easy transport. Comes with whatever parts are left on it.

Tailgate handle please Alex............

Is that a Bama truck?

I picked it up from a crack house in Tennessee.

StrokerMJComanche called dibs on the handle, but just told me you should get it first. I am going to take pictures after a lunch errand and post them up in a few hours.

License plate lights on rear bumper?  And Harness?

Shipped to 92020

I bumped the column shifter out of park when I was trying to remove the steering column and the bumper front ended my Subaru. Sorry.

I want the 4x4 shift indicator. Pm inbound

Alexia is pull that piece for me, but I have a red one from an 86 if you want it.  The plastic is in great shape, the little hairs are all falling out of it, though.  I could either give it to Alexia this week or send it to you.  PM me if interested.

I might also be interested in that interior,

Or at least parts of it. Trouble woukd be picking

it up or shipping. If Kryptronic decides against

it shot me a PM and we'll discuss...

I am buying the whole interior for my burgandy to black interior change.  I have about 85% of the pieces already, so after I go through what Alexia sells me, I will have extra original black pieces available.  I am in south-central PA, so it wouldn't be a bad trip to get them if you want them (if you're in DE).  Just PM me if interested.

All of the black interior is sold plus the spare power window door cards. There are some spare pieces from another black interior I have that I may part with eventually, but I need to assemble my truck's interior first.

Kook911 - Unsure, I can check next week when I am back home from the show.

Does or did this truck have curise control? Looking for the organs clip with enough wire to splice into

The turn signal stalk has the cruise button on it .

I do believe it does. I will have to look at it next week when I am back home.

If anyone has the under-dash piece in black that's in good shape I'd be interested.  :brows:

I've got two, both have at least one crack, nothing major, both are very repairable in an invisible way in my opinion.  I'm using one, if you'd like the other, PM me.

Is there such a thing as a lower dash piece that doesn't have a crack somewhere? Pretty sure they came that way from the factory  :laughin:

Probably not since the "newest" one you can find is over 30 years old.  :(  But miracles can happen.
