Reddout Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 I'm not buying this, just saw it and thought I'd post it here. From the pics, it looks to be a clean conversion, but without seeing it - who knows? http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/5896932076.html
Dzimm Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Wow that is super clean. I don't think I've seen one in this kind of shape before.
schardein Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Wow. Two observations: 1. The flat inner bedside panels. Not to criticize because it looks very well done, but if the side panels could be embossed to match the rear panel it would look more like factory. 2. Late XJ taillights?!
Nodrama43 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 I saw that the other day when browsing for Comanche trucks. Looks really nice...and I doubt you could ever build that truck for 10k. somebody did a good job.
mattbuch96 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 If jeep wanted to copy a ford bronco this would be it!
HOrnbrod Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Well done and worth the $10K. Would look great with a 97+ front clip on it too.
ggcnash Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Definitely worth 10k would be a hell of a buy at that price imo Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
Reddout Posted December 8, 2016 Author Posted December 8, 2016 Here's a little write up on jalopnik in their "nice price or crap pipe" series: http://jalopnik.com/for-10-000-is-this-custom-1994-jeep-cherokee-a-good-s-1789661546
shelbyluvv Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 That is nice! The amount and quality of work put into that is ridiculous. I like it
grinch Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Here's a bad example of a similar build: http://easternshore.craigslist.org/cto/5901372652.html Yuck
Mattman6 Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Here's a bad example of a similar build: http://easternshore.craigslist.org/cto/5901372652.html Yuck That is hideous!
Nodrama43 Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Rich, the owner, the fabricator, and the guy that built the Cheromanche sent me a bunch of pictures of the build process last night. In my opinion it is definitely done right and the attention to detail is amazing. The paint is fabulous also. Nice truck. power windows and door locks, 3.07 diffs. Everything works and zero rust anywhere on the truck. No I am not buying it. I am thrashing on my 90 Eliminator to get it completed and on the road by springtime and then I will be starting on the 91 Hunter green Pioneer resto.
ggcnash Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Love this thing! Someone buy it! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
