1992EliminatorSWB4x4
Anyone have part numbers and where to purchase both left and right rear fender plastic liners, mine started crumbling on a 1992 Comanche Eliminator. Would like to buy them. Thanks Fellows.
HOrnbrod
I got mine new at Rock Auto. They fit pretty well. CH1248106 {#55175009, Left}CH1249106 {#55175008, Right} EDIT: Just noticed you are looking for the rear liners. I've looked for those but have not found them new. 1992EliminatorSWB4x4
Hornbrod, thanks for the p/n on the front liners. I googled and could not locate any rear liners. I will buy both fronts. At least my liners made it for 23 years of service.

I looked at both my stock bed and a replacement I got - none had any liners or holes for it in them
daking
I was getting ready to ask the same question, if there wore ever actually liners for the rear. I'm mounting some items under the rear of the MJ. Battery, air tank, air compressor(s), transmission cooler, lights,,,. I think liners may help limit dirt / mud.
Minuit
I'm 99% sure that there's just a couple of crappy little flaps in there. If there was a full liner I bet we'd have a lot less problems with rusty rear wheel wells.
HOrnbrod
OP, what are the part numbers from the diagram below of what you are calling "rear fender plastic liners"?
benjy_26
My 87 had strips under the flares that met the metal fenders on the bed, but no full liners. I lost the drivers side on mine, but I can get pics of the passenger side if y'all want them.
1992EliminatorSWB4x4
Hornbrod, are pieces #8 and #9 the black plastic pieces that bolt to the rear fender flare studs or is it #7 and #8 for the black plastic pieces pieces that actually go inside the bed and bolt to the inside fender flare studs. Correct there are no liners just these pieces, mine are cracking/splitting. Thanks.
HOrnbrod
Pretty sure it's #7 & #8, along with the four end pieces #15. Tough to find now, although the #15 end pieces would be easy to cut out of flat stock.
mikekaz1
Wait... 7 and 8 aren't the metal outer wheel well? I've never noticed a rear plastic liner on any of my 5 MJs
1992EliminatorSWB4x4
Thanks Hornbrod, yes no liner but rear flares have a black plastic inside/behind the bed that attaches to the actual rear outside flares . Will try to find #7 and #8, which might prove impossible, If I can get them off in one piece maybe I could fiberglass cloth them with fiberglass rosin. Thanks again fellows. yellaheep
I have 1 or 2 sets of the flare liners and the #15 splash guards that I've pulled off of parts trucks. PM me if interested.
mikekaz1
Is the splash gaurd a inner well part? Or are they talking like mud flaps? Because the picture description of them looks very similar to the mud flap outline.
yellaheep
It's inside the fender well, closes the gap between the bed fender well and the frame rail. I can snap a photo later.....

GritHound
Ran across this thread while doing a restore and wanted to post a pic for reference. I got the right one off fine, but the left crumbled. I don't see a part number in the parts catalog.

AZJeff
Do these things hold on the OEM flares?

I don't have them on my MJ because I have aftermarket flares, so they looked alien to me to begin with.
