That's a D44 alright. Other than the rust it looks pretty solid. Looks like a few people before you have tried to fix the rust and probably just made it worse.

Hard to tell for sure, but those look like the standard 3+1 springs to me, which would make it a non-metric ton. If you can take a picture of the leaf springs we could tell for sure.

I'll take some tomorrow.

Well my plan is to fix the body paint it convert it to 4wd

I'm going to change out all the fluids tomorrow gas tank is leaking so I ordered a new one and straps. It should be here next week

It seems to be leaking trans fluid from the lines I will have to replace them ac lines are rusted and previous owner put a new used radiator in that doesn't look all that great so that has to go

Also it needs new rear brakes and today the hood release cable broke. But its a jeep and this is all expected

Nice looking truck.  I still have the white '92 that we swapped several years ago.  Other than blowing through clutch slave cylinders it's running strong!

Nice to hear from you. Thanks no where close to as clean as that one but it will do

I just sold the wrangler a few months back and had to get something.

This is the diff from the 01 the one I am going to use I guess I will have a little work to do to it But at least the area that holds the track bar and stabilizer are solid

That diff is a weaker low pinion version. I would not put a single dollar into fixing it. HP 30s are a dime a dozen. Pick up a good usable axle and throw that LP away.
