Well nice to find gad tank already primed for install. Sweetness. :grinyes: now the fuel pump setup was little big but nothing good set of channel locks can't remedy. Got new straps but no jbolts, need those as well as the roll over vent things that are $12 +$12 shipping at o reileys, so think i costed myself $50 as I may have already scrapped the old tank forgetting I was saving it for the said vents. :brickwall: progress shall continue one way or another....I wonder if I can just put duck tape over them for now...??:shhh:

These are the ones I used. They have a 3/8 thread instead of the original 10 mm but are nearly identical in length. I tried to find a cheaper option but was unable to.

Sweetness. What I needed, however I went with the simple make my own route and source some from a local fab shop. GUY has a plasma table and all and does some nice work. Had what I needed to make something that should to work. We bent up some 3/8th threaded rod. Should be right there with the 'good enough'. :shaking:

Here is his sight if wanted to check it out. I was thinking of having some MJ key chains made up. Be cool. :grinyes:

Custom art work or fab parts he offers.

Looks a little short on travel.

It good for travel just don't have very good welding skills so bolt broke 9ff with lack of penetration on the spring bucket. Going to preheat ot a bit before try welding it again. Only have a 120 flux core welder to use.

I see it now. That may be getting to the upper limits of a 120 welder.

So far its holding up now. The preheating on the bucket seemed to do the trick. Drives way better now on the road. Even drive over the one spot on the bridge that always set off the death wobble. Very happy with things now.

Now to only figure out the 4wd popping out. Thinking it maybe the shift fork worn by the indent that shifts. So maybe looking at getting the tcase rebuilt and since i have the 231c on the shelf, going to read up on what I can come up with. :shhh:

Well been a long winter. But happy for the break in the weather and ready for spring. Ready to get on those outside projects and enjoy the daylight for a change. So currently only thing the big jeep 9s good for is idling and winching. So winched the baby jeep at the hauler to bring back to the Trailer Mansion where I will have it sitting on blocks for a bit as Ill be removing the axles and suspension system. Planning a 3-4.5" lift on it with drop brakets I'm thinking. Still keeping things sensable as it is the new work horse pavement pounder. But a little extra clearence with little bigger tires never really hurt anyone...right..

its nice to have that wood heat again as well, i enjoy it when its 81 and I can leave the front door open.. need to install a darn dog door as well as MJ doesnt like inside so much in the 80s. :shaking:

Awaiting for the last sensors to show up for the big jeep and then we can say all sensors are new. Got em cause thats how you fix these jeeps, just replace everything every few years then you good and will have backups. .  Get em now before all the traiffs take affect and the partz from china are 3x the already 2x price.  However big jeep sure fires up faster and now butns fuel a little better and not so rich...as I'm not rich and gas hasent come down all that much just yet. But soon Ill have the bike back out and that will help save on gas. Also keep that smile on my face. :grinyes:

Wide chain time? Does your case pop out of gear even when your shift linkage is disconnected? Or adjust it more gooder to stay in gear 😜

Pops out no linkage. If i get 4lo it will stay but only can with out the linkage. Thoughts are to swap it out for a 231c i have on the shelf, the whole case for now.
