But now the big jeep is having stumbling issues. So chasing things down on that. So far every sensor replaced for good measure, plugs swapped just need some wires. Going to get the damn bike out now though. Let the Jeep sit awhile and think about its behavior. :dunce:

well been a min. We have snow now. I also have 4wd again. Swapped that tcase in finally. Drop the driveshaft cause to short. Other one is working but still gots the vibes. All in good time. So doing good for the last week added some system restore to it, helping some in town, then pulled tierod end out again, darn bung had a spur. So quick weld up from buddy and back to doing work. Must be smooth driving cause the wrench on the hood rode almost 40 miles before I noticed it. 😲. But hauled some wood today and fixed to be ready for this big freeze they saying now. I even got to use the 4wd and winch for a spas delivery. Good to carry a snatch block. Check your gear. 😆

Trans out, intake and header out. Planning to swapp the intake out for a 99 setup and install new long tube headers... hopeful for a little extra pep. :D

I love this truck. :beerbang: Welcome back!

Yeah I know so have been mia. I have progress pics I. Need to update. But this is how it sits currently anyways. And since the temps are going to drop 30* next week I start working back on it. 😂 Planning on the 99 Intake swap so need to research the fuel injectors as if I can get new injectors but keep  fuel rail..Not sure.

Not sure what year your truck is but I am running a Renix fuel rail on a 99 manifold. The injector spacing is the same. I had to cut the center feet off a bit and weld new hold down brackets in place and it has been working great for the last year.120939833_IMG_20250913_123840676_HDR2.jpg.9ec8ea1e9f780a72a0f42053e5de39cf.jpg

So did you have to use different injectors and wire harness then? For the injectors I mean...

No. You can use the injectors and wire harness you already have. All 4.0 injectors are the same physical size. The flow rates did change over the years and the plugs changed on the later years.
