Basic working MJ pic request

Since we do not have a pic section, I figured this was better put in the tech section because there will be a little bit of tech involved.

I have an idea of what I want my comanche to look like, but its hard finding anything that is neither restored, or full on built. I will probably stay in the 31-33 inch tire size, mainly because I'm running a 2.5 and has no desire to up grade. I do however have a brand new set of 37's... I want to see pics of woods friendly truck's running these size tires (up to 37's) and know what lift and axel combinations your running.

If your running a 2.5 you get bonus points, that are absolutly good for nothing. Thanks in advance.

and if this needs to be moved to a place more suiting, have at it.

Between moving and being swamped with work the MJ project has been neglected.

I need to get it up on my lift so I can button up some stuff underneath then it should be ready to fire, just need to find some time.

I plan to have it at the NAXJA NWfest in June so I need to get working on it.

Basic rear SOA/front 5.5" lift using mainly Rubicon Express parts as listed in my sig. Short arm. Wheel wells cut and covered with TJ flares. Those are 32's but 35's fit just fine.

This lift did not break the bank, falls somewhere between that stock/mild/restored and and "full on built" like you wanted. HP D30 up front. 29-spline 8.25 in the rear. 231 t-case. It works well both on-road and off. And it was fairly inexpensive to do this lift. It was several hundred dollars cheaper to build this lift than other SOA's I have seen once you made them complete with things like shocks.

Here is a shot from the driver's seat showing the kind of trails that we have for about 80% of our 'wheeling. Bypasses are for wusses.

I am sure you have seen tons of these where you are coming up out of a creek bed. Steeper than it looks but not really very tough. It is just the only shot like it I have so far. Also shot through the window.

Taking it To Haspin Acres in Laural, IN tomorrow and maybe I will finally get some good pictures of it off-road.

No bonus points for me but here's my 89 4.0,5spd, 231 with a mildly built 30 and Amc20 on 35" Km2s Clayton Longarms and Soa rear. It works for me and got me across the country without any issues
