A lot of Ford rims are set up for tapered lug nuts, but they have a smaller center hole than AMC/Jeep rims and won't fit on an XJ or MJ without modification. BIGMASS Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Offset is usually cast into the back of the rim like this If you look HERE it says that MJ rims have a centre bore of 71.5 mm and Mark VII is 70.3 so that is a difference of 1.2mm overall or just a little over .5mm all around. There is no caps with them, but they were only used for a year then stored so their in pretty good shape. SlimFisher Posted July 30, 2007 Author Share Posted July 30, 2007 I really suck at keeping my threads updated. So anyway here is an overdue update. I finally decided on a set of wheels. 2 actually. Set one are 15x8 ION's with 30x9.5 daytons. The tires only had about 5k on them and still had hairs. Set two are gold mesh from a cherokee limited. There not in the best shape, but the price was right and I got them for winter so I'm not too concerned. TireRack also has a clearance sale on now. They were my next choice.
