DirtyComanche Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Who is already NOT looking forward to it? I have a flight to catch that day... Flight leaves at 6am. Yeah, that extra hour is the difference between 'sucks' and 'might as well not bother trying to sleep that night'. Arrg. Why mess with the time.
Rymanrph Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I LOVE daylight savings time. I can't wait. I'd rather drive to work in the dark and have that extra hour of light when I get home.
Geonovast Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 $^*& DST. It was practical back in the day, but in a world that functions 24/7, it's completely pointless. All it does is cause confusion, and problems, especially with people who actually have things to do when it happens. The lovely 9 hour work day for us 3rd shifters is not appreciated just because office monkeys like their pretty sunshine. It's outdated, and serves no purpose, it needs to go away.

I could not agree with you more... Go with one or the other and leave it the @#$% alone after that.................
JeepcoMJ Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 daylight savings should at least be renamed to "sleep schedule F##K up"
gogmorgo Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Daylight saving time? What's that?Gotta love Saskatchewan. Back in the 60's they said "Who the hell still needs light at 11pm? What's wrong with y'all? @#$% that noise!" and the time hasn't changed since.
88whitemanche Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 When is daylight savings time anyway? What is the actual date?

jimoshel Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 It keeps double quoting and I can't delete one of them.
buffalob Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 It keeps double quoting and I can't delete one of them. ....yeah but it was worth sayin twice......
DirtyComanche Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Daylight saving time? What's that?Gotta love Saskatchewan. Back in the 60's they said "Who the hell still needs light at 11pm? What's wrong with y'all? @#$% that noise!" and the time hasn't changed since. Part of BC does that too... Which makes it EVEN MORE CONFUSING.
Geonovast Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Indiana doesn't do it, and I believe Arizona doesn't as well. Must be really crappy for people that work/live in one of those places and then live/work across the border.
Butchershop Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Full day of work, then 18 holes at the golf course all in the same day...in the daylight. That's a smokin day! Keepers for me....I can turn lights on in the office, not on the course. Can replace golf with fishing, wrenching, hiking, etc....
gogmorgo Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Must be really crappy for people that work/live in one of those places and then live/work across the border. My dad's job has him working in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba, often on the same day. The time's only different half the year, and after doing it often enough, you get used to it.
terrawombat Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I don't mind it. About the only thing to look forward to in March...
COFFMAN Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Fades the curtins a little more, and the cows get a bit confused when milking time is But i love it 9.00 - 9.30pm dark at it peak during summer
