54bobby
so, who's gona win the game and why? who do the coaches parents call first? winner or loser? i like the ravens but they need to contain kapernick or what ever his name is.
HOrnbrod
I'm not really into it this year as my teams have been KOed (Giants and Pats), but I have to go with the East Coast Ravens. I think their D with Ray L and company will keep Kaepernick mostly in the pocket and force him to pass more than he wants (read picks). Flacco is playing great right now and I think Baltimore wins by a field goal. Mom and Dad Harbaugh will be calling psycho Jim first since he'll be the loser. Maybe............. jvd
Being that I bleed black and gold, I don't want either team to win. Don't want the niners to win, to tie for most superbowls all time. Don't want the ravens to win being in the same division. VERY tired of ray lewis' holier than thou attitude, glad he is done this season. It pains me to think I want the ravens to win. HOrnbrod
I'm very tired of the Ray Lewis media circus too. But not so tired I'd ever pull for the Niners. Maybe I would though if Montana was still playing.
86customanche
don't really care here. Not a big fan of either team. Id like to root for the eastern team being a VA guy but they knocked out my team so I'm a little upset at them. I still have a couple days to make my pick, cuz you gotta have a team to root for during the game itself.
terrawombat
Ravens! I'll be wearing my purple pants, shoes and jacket today at work. I'm about 45 minutes outside of Baltimore and the atmosphere is pretty crazy around here!
Butchershop
Loooooong time Saints fan. Long enough to remember Mr. Montana kicking our tails every year. Cannot route for the 49ers....ever....like Falcons.... And really don't care for the love oozing Ray Ray's way. He was indicted for murder, now he's a poster boy. Just don't get it.... No favorite. But, I did like the SNL skit making fun of Ray Lewis. http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/weekend-update-ray-lewis/n32030/
terrawombat
I don't watch or read and mainstream media and really only listen to local news radio to and from work. The only Ray Lewis stuff I've been hearing is about him using banned substances to speed up his recovery. The local stuff has actually been a lot of anti-love for Ray. The media needs something to write about and Ray is probably the best news story for this Superbowl. The two teams in it are a small market (Ravens) and a Niners team that used to have a lot of fans when they were good, but it's been a while and I'm sure many of those have fallen off the bandwagon. I can understand why a lot of folks aren't very interested in it this year. Oh, and Ray was acquitted a long time ago :D

maddzz1
Since the Pats are out I'm not that interested. But I want San Fran. Me and 3 buddy's went to the championship game and watched the ravens pummel the pats. It was my 1st time going to a game and altho I had a great time it was very disappointing. Comanche County
I say Baltimore. I lived in Joppatown, MD for a year when I was a kid, and their teams kinda grew on me. I even still like the Baltimore Blast. Mostly, I'd like to see Baltimore win so Michael Oher gets a ring.
Geonovast
I usually don't watch the game if the Packers aren't playing. Used to, but the commercials are worthless nowadays... so I guess I'll for the team that isn't the 49ers. I am probably gonna raid a pizza deal from Pizza Hut or Papa Murphy's. ParadiseMJ
The Niners will be bringing the Lombardi trophy back to sunny California where it belongs!!! We'll be watching the game out on our deck while working on our tans...and BBQing oysters, fresh crab and wings. Go Niners!!! Just like the SF Giants brought home the World Series trophy twice for the last 3 years. http://sanfrancisco....trophy_tour.jsp Looks like our year!!!! Woe to the misanthropes (haters). ParadiseMJ
$25 via Paypal says you're wrong Charlie. And a real man eats his oysters raw w. a dash of lemon and hot sauce. Done! You'll be needing my e-mail...unless you still have it. As for the ruthless attack on my virility...(whine)...I worked at an oyster bar through my college days, so I do eat Bluepoints raw, much to the chagrin of my wife. I just can't choke down a quarter pound Pacific oyster...they're huge. So they're grilled with bacon, Hollandaise and Marie's habanero sauce from Belize. Game on.
HOrnbrod
Still have your email address - won't need it though. Make sure you have mine. If not I'll relay it shortly after the game, although we'll probably know the ultimate result after the third quarter when Kaepernick is knocked out of the game. I'm well familiar with Pacific oysters, although not the puny quarter pounders y'all cultivate in polluted farms. I'm talking about the monster half pounders and up that grow wild in pristine locales like the Marshall Isles and Guam. Just wade out on low tide and grab all you want, ice 'em down for about an hour, shuck 'em out, dip in calamansi juice and hot sauce, and slide them down with a cold beer. Mmmmmm good.
