Rymanrph Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 the wheels will look sweet on the truck, looking forward to seeing them mounted. Ditto. I love seeing something slightly different. I love Ravines to begin with, but the gold is going to work great with your paint scheme.
Dadinator Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 30's will be just about right for those wheels on a stock truck. They should look great with your paint scheme. I've got 31's on mine. Just a little rub on full lock with the control arms.
Butchershop Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Whats the paint code for that color?? Also truck is coming along beautifully! Truck was painted when I got it, but it appears to be Dark Baltic Blue Metallic Clearcoat HQ9/CE or a repaint very similar. The gold wheel code is hy2. The dupont formula # is c9266; Sherwin Williams formula # is 38096
Butchershop Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Ok, let me know what you think. Since I have the wheels, I'm considering making it a 'Golden Eagle' Comanche with the below as inspiration. Maybe add golden eagle decals on hood. Circle eagle decals on sides. Don't think I'll go with the large bird decal on hood. Eventually converting interior to tan. Sound cool or retarded? All opinions welcomed. Thanks.
Butchershop Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 New front end (grill, bumper, guards, lights) wheels and tires (30-9.5-15) Center cap wouldn't fit on fronts. Will paint hub to match rear caps. Flares will get paint and new stainless studs this weekend.
ComancheKid45 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Some "Golden Eagle" decals would compliment that truck perfect! I Love it!
North4x4 Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Truck looks great!! I like what you've done with it so far, very clean. Keep up the good work and keep us posted. :rock on:
buffalob Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Really like the color combo...as suspected the wheels look great on it. cudos to you sir.
buffalob Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 the plate looks great but for some reason all the blood seems to be rushing to my head???
Butchershop Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013  Not sure about that???? Uploaded with Tapatalk HD and it looks fine on the iPad.....
Butchershop Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 A few of the latest pics. Hope they're not upside down! With the flares painted and attached.... :chillin:
HOrnbrod Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Good choice on the Ravine wheels. Me likee. To dress up the two front center hubs, you can pick up a pair of these: http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-2485-Chrome-Dust/dp/B000CMD5BM The 1.790" diameter is close to correct for the 2WD MJ dust caps. I had them on my rig when I had the Ravine wheels. They are a little loose w/o a shim; I simply cut out a 1/4" strip of aluminum from a beer can, formed it around the edge of the cap, then tapped them in. Better than painting the old rusty dust caps.

Butchershop Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 Little more progress on the interior. New seat foam and vinyl (yellaheep's find). Woodgrain bezel Custom floor mats Shift Knob (one of my fav adds) Still need a BLUE steering wheel button! Cannot find one!
zackcj7 Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 After seeing this truck in person last week i'm officially jealous.
