anyone hear anything from them lately? I placed an order a few weeks ago, they charged my card right away, but it never shipped. They havent replied to emails or voicemails, now it seems their phone is disconnected. I even sent him a PM on here. I really just want my stuff to get my jeep going

Motion Offroad has a poor track record - check it out. This is just another example. Not ragging them, it's fact. I'd never order anything from them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he basically a scammer from way back...? Got his old handle banned from JF and NAXJA and a few other places, changed names and pretty much has continued with the same deal?

 

Or am I getting him confused with somebody else?

When you go looking for another vendor be creative with your search and you might find the items they are selling you far cheaper from their source. When I was looking at lift options a couple of years ago the bolt on SOA that they were claiming as "their" expertise and design was a direct purchase from Rocky Road that they marked up 40% and called their own, for example. They just did the ol' copy-paste from the original vendor's ads in many cases, just changing it to claim the product was their own. The mentions on the other forums back this up and make for interesting reading if you search them up.

 

I wonder if this could be the straw that broke the camel's back and gets Motion Offroad the Ballistic Fabrication treatment here?

I picked up the same MJ rear sway bar they carry for directly from Addco for $40 cheaper shipped than their non-shipped price.

 

Not knocking them as my experience has been mostly positive. Just sayin'.
