Yup, eclipse on Comanche.

I'll post some direct pics once I get them off my camera.

I totally forgot about this effect with eclipses... How cool would it be to set up a board with an array of holes facing the sun. Would make an excellent artsy shot on the other side with the light that cast through.

Was out in the back yard today around 6:30 ish when my bro called from Sacramento which is about 3 hrs north away and asked if I was seeing the eclips and I couldn't see squat ! I still can't see anything that sun is bright  . After putting on 4 pair of sun glasses I could kinda see the sun was covered a little bit but that was it .

Here are some pics I took with a welding mask lens in front of my camera lens.

What is better, a total eclipse or an annular eclipse? Hmm... I will drink a Corona but I won't put my lips on an Annulus. :ack:

do you neighbors hate you or what. always having MJs out on the street. do you move them around or leave them in one spot? not that i live in a big city or anything but i know people in memphis are "female dogs" when it comes to cars in front of their house constantly.

Thanks for posting the images. Have seen plenty of total eclipses in various locales but never an true annular. Conditions have to be perfect which seldom happens.

My neighbors LOVE me, I lend them tools and help them with their projects. All my trucks run and I do drive each at least once a week. They are always parked in front of my house (always in the same order) not the neighbor's, the tan MJ belongs to my neighbor across the street
