jimoshel
Didn't see a thing. Something was blocking the sun and no light was getting thru.

Automan2164
Yup, eclipse on Comanche. I'll post some direct pics once I get them off my camera. I totally forgot about this effect with eclipses... How cool would it be to set up a board with an array of holes facing the sun. Would make an excellent artsy shot on the other side with the light that cast through. 86FUBAR
Was out in the back yard today around 6:30 ish when my bro called from Sacramento which is about 3 hrs north away and asked if I was seeing the eclips and I couldn't see squat ! I still can't see anything that sun is bright  . After putting on 4 pair of sun glasses I could kinda see the sun was covered a little bit but that was it . fiatslug87
Here are some pics I took with a welding mask lens in front of my camera lens. Location 30º31'04.56 N, 121°26'51.84 W. What is better, a total eclipse or an annular eclipse? Hmm... I will drink a Corona but I won't put my lips on an Annulus. :ack:

TylerJY
No :( We have had clear skies all week, but of course today had to be overcast.

Thanks for posting the images. Have seen plenty of total eclipses in various locales but never an true annular. Conditions have to be perfect which seldom happens.
jeepdoggydogB
Great PICS Mike, The thing that I noticed from the rings of fire was the blinding reflections from my windshield and black truck.
Sir Sam
We had some clouds but I did manage to snap a few quick photos behind a welding helmet before the sun went down behind the mountains.

My neighbors LOVE me, I lend them tools and help them with their projects. All my trucks run and I do drive each at least once a week. They are always parked in front of my house (always in the same order) not the neighbor's, the tan MJ belongs to my neighbor across the street
