I have seen some creative things while trying to score needed parts at the Junk Yards. I really have to share some of the back yard engineering that may have contributed to the where these vehicles have ending up. Feel free to add your favorites Junk Yard mods to the thread :clapping:

That was Forced Cold Air. High flow with out a filter by the looks too. It's awesome. Were those top of the line hinges on the same rig? It looks like they spared no expense they even painted them to match.

And I imagine it was there after the motor died, from ingesting copious amounts of gravel? :roll:

Hopefully Bobert will show the pics of the wood bumper we found. The creator even spent the extra time angle cutting the ends for extra sexyness.

i had a friend who did something similar on a 2 door xj years back.. he wanted removable doors so he got some wrangler hinges and welded them to the fender and door :shake:
