Apparently the stock flare has lots of meat in those areas . The finished job looked very much the same as 97+ flares on the front . dasbulliwagen Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I know this may be off topic, and that the OP is looking to match 97 plus to the rear, but here's some pics I stole from somewhere of a guy who did a set off of a Chevy pickup.... modern looking and may be able make work with the 97 plus style.... just my 2 cents. Once again, the XJ rear wheel opening is smaller in both length and height than the MJ. 2-door and 4-door XJs have the same wheel opening and take the same flares. What about these Bushwackers I want to order them but I want to make sure they will work. These are not the same ones are they?
