RynoMJ Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 Figured I'd give a little update: Sliders Had a little mishap in the driveway late one night. So I ordered a JCR bumper and put it together with a few modifications Image Not Found Image Not Found
COFFMAN Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Great build dude, thanks for the update. I will never fit a front mount winch but always thought of a rear mount... Truck looks great.. Flat flairs
89eliminator Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 is the wrap around protection of the bumper touching the bed? and this is probably my new favorite MJ. so clean and nicely done.
RynoMJ Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 is the wrap around protection of the bumper touching the bed? and this is probably my new favorite MJ. so clean and nicely done. Thanks! Theres probably an 1/8 of space between the corner and the bumper.
RynoMJ Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 Little update. So I chose that front bumper because I knew at some point I wanted to attempt to put a winch behind the cross member. Finally got around to fabing the mount and getting everything to line up. I like the hidden winch look.
badazzelanore Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I seriously feel like the Comanches rear bumpers were made out of aluminum foil. Finding one that is in pristine condition is like finding a unicorn! all the ones I see are freaking destroyed... Oh well lol, your truck looks bad @$$.
RynoMJ Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 Nice... What front bumper is this? Logans metal products. Relatively cheap compared to a lot of other bumpers. I seriously feel like the Comanches rear bumpers were made out of aluminum foil. Finding one that is in pristine condition is like finding a unicorn! all the ones I see are freaking destroyed... Oh well lol, your truck looks bad @$$. I'm not sure what I was thinking putting a stock one back on it. Thanks bud.
