Automan2164
Not much more than that. Peter Emailed into them about the progress of the WFC, and he made the "Mail bag" section in the front of the mag with a pic. Kinda cool. Go check it out! Peter, you thanked Rusty's, and mentioned Hesco... Where's our shout out? Rob L. :D

HOrnbrod
Rob L. Agree. Would assume the emblem and the front license plate holder are removed on the speed runs? Prolly just an old pic.
glundblad
don't mean to hijack the thread but did you also read the "$#!&" box shootout? There is a beautiful white MJ they claim is a $500 POS. It gives me stomach cramps. :fs2:

Man does have a heart. Rob L.

Prolly just an old pic. that photo is actually a chop. early on they needed a photo to send in to the bonneville guys and so they chopped the truck onto the salt flats. Comanche County
I love that truck. I hope they can beat the Chevy guys. But any speed over 80 or so scares me, I don't think I could run on the flats, I'm too chicken. I did get my 84' Honda V65 up to 140 a long time ago, I was 19 or 20 when I did that,,,,and that won't ever happening again!
streetjeep2.5
In 1965 rode in a 64 GTO and we had it doing about 130 we think on factory bias ply tires. The speedometer was pegged and still accelerated. Slowed to 70 when approaching a bridge :clapping: and the right front tire blew out. :ack: Have NEVER wanted to go that fast again! :shake:
