That truck has been posted before for it outrageous price, but I don't remember it being THAT high. That guy is NUTZ if he thinks they are EVER going to see anything close to that price for it. Nice truck, but its not THAT nice!

If it was in showroom condition, completely original, had under 50 grand in miles, and never been in an accident, maybe $10,000???? But this thing is a repaint and has 154,000 on it. Carfax says in 2004; "Accident reported Involving front impact with another motor vehicle. Moderate damage reported". Bet that was the repaint, which could indicate "moderate" sheet metal work (BONDO!!!!). Plus, "01/07/1997, 950 miles" according to "Tennessee Inspection Station", and in "06/30/1999, 96,707 miles" according to "Southeast Automotive, Nashville, TN", where "Vehicle offered for sale"? Almost 96,000 miles in 2 1/2 years?????

Bet that thing sits there for a lot longer than it has now been sitting (since July 2010 so far).

I could see maybe if it was something extremely rare like the last one to roll of the line, or comanche street number 1, worlds fastes MJ, or something like that but its just a run of the mill pioneer. And not even with the black interior!

Just my thoughts

All of the statements in this post are correct but you must admit, it would make a great parts truck. :rotf:

I want that AMC bed mat.

Nah

it might be...it was made in april of 92..last year..last month of production

how can i tell?

My buddy Russ has one that is much later than yours...

it can't be much later..

they stopped making them in 4/92 right?

my production date is 4/92...

so if they stopped making them..how are any mjs MUCH more newer...

i don't think theres a later date on anyones door

So far 5/92 is the latest. 5-3-92 to be exact. Rumored the last one rolled off on 5-18-92 according to a book or two. Have yet to see any past 5/3. I have a 4-24-92.

Your logic is profound...

There's a guy on these forums that has a 5/3/92 build date. There is information suggesting that the last MJ rolled off the line 5/18/92, but we haven't found it yet.
