Hubbell Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Looks pretty decent for 1500$ that's an average price around here. That's if you like Camanches. :chillin: :fool: http://reno.craigslist.org/cto/1716860227.html
500 MJ Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Can you go find out the VIN for me? Rob L. Now that you have a '92, you'll forever be asking that question about other '92's Yay for free entertainment :rotfl2:
Automan2164 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 That's an Eliminator too. Well worth the $$. Buy it up Don! Rob L.
Wildman Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 That's an Eliminator too. Well worth the $$. I would agree, But.......he spell Comanche wrong, so it's only worth about 50 bucks to me  Other wise, it is a nice MJ for the asking :D
HOrnbrod Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 That's an Eliminator too. Well worth the $$. Buy it up Don! Rob L. If it were closer I would. That's a rare animal.

I would agree, But.......he spell Comanche wrong, so it's only worth about 50 bucks to me  Other wise, it is a nice MJ for the asking :D What's wrong with the spelling? :dunno: That is worth it all day long, if it's not been infested with those metal eating termites. :D
HOrnbrod Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 That is worth it all day long, if it's not been infested with those metal eating termites. :D  My thoughts exacerly. I don't care if the seller spells it Kemmanchee or any other variation. How is Reno weather on vehicles anyhow? Gotta be less corrosive than anywhere in the rust belt I would think. :hmm:

shawn Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 has anyone in the reno area looked at this truck in person??? I'm wondering what the shipping costs would be like. I'm totally drooling but my passport app isnt completed yet so options are limited.
Automan2164 Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I wish someone would so I could get the build date! Rob L. :D
HOrnbrod Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I called the guy over the weekend a couple of times - no answer. Left a couple of messages and never got a callback. :dunno:
jeepdoggydogB Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 That's about a three hour drive from where I live, too bad  the wife won't let me bring home another.
johnj92131 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I also called, no answer and no return call to the message I left. No email reply either.
MjAllTheWay Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I will try to get a Vin and look to see whats up with it.
Automan2164 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 If you go and see it, look at the drivers door sticker, or the serial number (last 6 digits of VIN) Rob L.
Kittrell Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Has anyone heard back from this guy? I'm gettin' nothin.
gl1200aman Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I bought the my 88 from a guy in Carson city and tried to have a car hauler pick it up but tat was a lost cause. If they could get someone to agree, it was suppose to cost a total of $865 but no carrier would touch it. The Reno area is too far out of their normal route. The carriers that would go the extra miles that way wanted $1200 or more. If you plan ahead and have the time the airfare is not too bad. When I first bought it and was looking 1.5-2 weeks ahead I could go from Chicago to Reno for $105 but after the problems with the car haulers I paid $385 three days before flight. It was just under 2000 miles back but I got over 20 MPG the whole way. The 88 I bought has very little rust and no holes. There are a few small spots that the paint cracked and has some very minor rust starting and the roof has some rust comming through the paint but the body shops say that is very minor and easily stopable. The Nevada weather is good for no/little rust if cared for but it is murder on the clear coat.
Unglar Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Wow, that looks like a very nice 'Camanche'..... Seriously, wish I had $1000 to offer for it.
johnj92131 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 As others have said, it should be worth the asking price and a bit more. Too bad nobody has been able to get hold of him. JJ
Automan2164 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Wow, that looks like a very nice 'Camanche'..... Seriously, wish I had $1000 to offer for it. I just wish he'd reply. Rob L.
gl1200aman Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 If it was a long box it might be worth another trip out to get it. If the baody is as rust free as the one I just bought out there when I got it back to WI it would sell pretty fast.
