I'd like a shot of the rear axle, and some underside photos showing how the flares flow into the body skirting.

And I'm very serious about my offer of driving up there. I'll snap all the pics and he won't have to do a thing. :D

It's really not that buried. unless he's expecting to literally bring it out from it's parking spot like they did for the bonneville MJ. :dunno: somehow I doubt he'd go to that much trouble for us. :dunno: Tell him to yank the cover off and start snappin'. :D

and like always, I'm totally willing to assist him in this endeavor. :brows:

don't forget to send the full size images to petermontie AT hotmail.com

I will man I will.

I talked to a buddy of mine that airbrushes for redbull, the NHL and a bunch of others. he said he has a great scaner and can put the info on a disc for me. I will be up his way first of the week so I will get it done.

Well guys, I honestly don't know. I've been in contact with this guy over at the archives once... And he got me no-where. I have another contact with Chrysler, who beat doors down looking for a Jeep guy who was as passionate as all of us are. He had some names in mind, but no one would let him give out their info. Then he finally found someone who was willing to help.

Ended up being the guy over at the archives, and well, we knew how that worked out the first time. So here we are.

It's buried pretty good. The cars are all parked together with only walking space between them. We had an escort showing us around the buildings and he kept a pretty close eye on us. Can't imagine why. :dunno: Rob is correct, we were only allowed to snap pics of the LSR MJ because it was the one we had clearance to see. Secrecy is there main anti-theft policy.

I'm guessing he's just going to walk back there, pull off the cover, snap some pics, then put the cover back on.

I'm so glad we've been able to make contact with someone who might actually do something. :D Tell him I'd be more than happy to drive back and assist.

:agree: Man I live in NC and even I would make the drive for that. comanche.gif

I'm guessing the results are yet to be seen but man it would be amazing to see updated pictures of it. I just don't understand really why he said he would then never did, even a few years later. Meh, sucks big time!
