in my 88mj sb with 4.11 gearing i spin the tires in 1st and second. i must be careful in 1st. so i won't do anything to increase hp at this time.

i bought them from kaiser brake here in eugene. they make some parts of springs and i believe they get parts for them from portland. i have a soa, but the springs were too long and not put together correctly. the arc was too severe which made the back end too high. i wanted 2 or3 inches taken out of the lift, they are made for 2400 lbs total weight and most importantly, they are softly sprung. dezert prerunning. the top half leaf helps with anti-wrap. cory does this with a lot of his springs. having them made covered all my concerns. these are a one off spring. hope this helps, dave

One thing Ive found that works good is something called DRY LUBE... it is a graphite based lube that is non staining and non greasy. Be careful though, the last one I did, I was rolling the window up and down and a spark from the motor or switch or whatever ignited the propellant mixture inside the door and about blew the door panel off of it. Suprised the crap out of me as I was sitting there right next to it. Nothing broke though, except for my pants being singed. this really happened? i got a good laugh.
