I didn't realize the site was only 2 years old when i joined, time really flies! Comanche Club has been an excellent resource for MJ and XJ info for me over the years, I'm glad its here.

I am in search of the small 4wd shifter bezel for the column shift auto. I'm looking for a blue one and a honey tan one (but would also consider the light tan). I am also looking for the trim pieces that go inside the door opening along the edge of the floor and the kick panel piece in front of it for both sides. Preferably in the honey tan but would consider the light tan for these as well.

It is not a very practical hauler nor could I find a picture with a Jeep on the trailer. But I have hauled a lot of Cherokees and a few comanches over the past few years with it. 1995 K1500 with a TBI 350, manual trans, Dana 44 front, semi float 14 bolt rear with 4.88 gears.

I should have one, i just have to find it.

It was a good time and I actually got to meet a few members which is always great. I noticed too it seemed to be a lot less attendees this year, and unfotunately I didnt really take many pictures.

I see 2 daily that sit behind my work. Otherwise I don't always see Comanches on a weekly basis but I would say I see a few every month. I know where a few are parked too. Cherokees though I see a handful of every day, they are plentiful around here.

I'll be at the show searching the swap meet, but I probably won't register anything.

1988 "lowmanche"
BarracudaBlueXJ replied to Awinski's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
@AwinskiI've been watching your build on IG for awhile and some how never realized you had a thread on here. I just read through the 5 pages here and it was cool to look over your progress again. I also didn't realize you were in Pennsylvania too, I'm in South/central Pa, maybe I'll see this thing out on the streets in action sometime! -

Pete, I see you have a couple from Fishel in Red Lion, Pa. That is pretty cool to see, they unfortunately arent around any more but they were local to me. My Dad had a Golden Eagle J10 that was originally from there. -
Now I know this is an old thread but I've been away from the site for a lil and just stumbled across this. I had the pleasure of meeting Wildman a lil while back when he bought the white comanche from me. He's a great guy to deal with an it was awesome to meet another member. I had no clue you had so many comanches! Glad to see some pics of my old one.

Lower control arm drop bracket
BarracudaBlueXJ replied to billy_ritter's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
personally if i was going to run drop brackets on a comanche id either run the RRO with the comanche braces, or ditch the factory gusset and run rubicon express, i have their braces on my XJ and seem to be the most HD ones you can buy if you're not into fabbing you're own parts -
What about a 4.3 instead of 5.0?
BarracudaBlueXJ replied to streetjeep2.5's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yup mines in an xj...i just look here 4 tech cause no one seems 2 like the old cherokees and as far as wiring...it doesn't bother me I'm just a fan of oldschool carb setups -

BarracudaBlueXJ replied to streetjeep2.5's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
i was thinking about doing the 4.3 swap as well but i was planning on doing a carbed 4.3. it seems really practical for me seeing as i currently have the carbed 2.5. -

Converting ax-4 to Ax-5
BarracudaBlueXJ replied to Geonovast's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
since were on the ax-4/ax-5 subject and you guys seem to know about them I'm gonna ask. I have an ax-4 in my jeep now with 4.88s so i want over drive. I just picked up an ax5 that has a bad cluster gear? or something like that, it made noise in all gears but 4th, and i picked up a 2wd ax5 with bad syncro's. the question is can i piece all 3 trannys together to make one good ax5? -
the cheapest i found was 170 for a new set. but a friend of mine has a junk 2 door xj. are these regulators the same?
-
ever have any luck with this?

thats one nice looking mj i think the size is perfect for it and i have a friend running claws and has never had any problems with them, they are a great all around tire
