  6. YJ Wrangler cowl vents work well also, theres only 1 per vehicle though...
  7. That worst thought is This is what Chrysler thought would out perform and sucessfully replace the XJ... Keep up the hard work, its nice to see what a mess these things are to tear apart! lol
  8. The 2 tone was popular on pickups back in the 80s, so i definently think it could be factory. Any photos of the underside? Overall it looks like a very nice truck!
  9. I'm about an hour southwest of Middletown. Where are ya coming in from?
  10. I'm in South central, PA. I have a driveline from a LWB ,4x4 ,D44 rear axle Id be willing to part with if your intrested. I don't have a use for it since the majority of my trucks are SWB.
  11. Love both the vehicles! I'm also a fan of those bed rails and headache rack on the MJ! Keep up the good work!
  12. Theres always room to learn something new. After purchasing a set of Unit bearings for my 88 Comanche I was suprised to find out the brake rotors would not fit over them after installation. I contacted the company and sure enough they said "These will only work on 1990-1992 Comanches". They excepted them as returns if i so wished... Hmmm I had no idea the hubs and brake rotors changed in 1990. So being the curious person I am off to the garage I went this evening. Seeing as I have a 1990 MJ in the garage I pulled the 88 inside and removed a brake rotor from it and side by side compared it with the 1 from the 90. I found a very minimal difference between the 2 and mounted the larger 1 on the 88 for reference and although it showed tighter tolorences, no signs of interfierance were spotted. So anyway I present to your guys a question. Will the installation of the 90+ unit bearings and brake rotors on an 88 Dana 30 cause any issues? It seems as simple as a bolt on swap, considering the brake pads are the same and the rotors are a mearly 4mm difference in diameter, the biggest difference is the diameter of the center sections allowing the 90+ rotors to fit over the larger unit bearings.... Sorry if I rambled on a bit, but i figured if anything it could be an intresting topic for future reference and hopefully someone else could learn this fact just as I did today. Thanks guys!
  13. Got a new O2 sensor and a belt installed on the truck today...I did fire it up and let it run for a bit earlier in the week and it still sounded great. I'm excited to get this thing out in a few months and see how it runs with the tweaks ive been making!
  14. Wow does every situation have to turn polictical? Geez Throw some ambers on your truck and don't hesitate to help people......This is still America and thats what WE do!
  15. I really don't have a straight answer but finding TDC is very simple on our engines ;) Id just do it to be sure the 1st time
  16. Glad to see more bumpers being distrbuted. Mines still holding up excellent after a year of abuse!

  19. Hey guys, I fired up "Walker" for the 1st time in a couple months and the 1st time after some work under the hood, Everything looks and rus great, however I noticed a slight leak from the connection between the fuel retirn line and the fuel rail. I took apart the quick connect and noticed theres 2 O rings inside in which 1 was torn. So my question is, are those O Rings replaceable in that connector? Being as its a return line and not under large amounts of pressure, simply doing away with the quick connect and hose clamping it to the fuel rail is an option but Id really hate to "rig" something like that on this truck. The line itself is a 1 peice crimped fittings all the way from the rail to the tank and Is not readily available... Thanks for any options!
  20. I just got a cheapie reciever mount online and wired the light to a trailer harness connector, when i go offroad i just unhook it and slide it outta harms way.
