  1. Still no answers.....measure away
  2. Alright. Does anyone possibly have a measurement of a SWB 4x4 rear drive shaft with a Dana 44 rear? Just to have a number to work with
  3. ^^^ Truck looks good  Alrighty so when I swap a Dana 44 in my SWB (from a LWB if it matters) I will either need a new driveshaft or to find a place to shorten mine? I'm currently sitting +1.5" in the rear and plan to go about another 2" withen the next year or so, will shortening the driveshaft now be a problem with an extra 2" or so whenever?
  4. edit. its a 4.0l but still a D44
  5. I can get an XJ D44 for about $480 with Truck shipping included... Its already matched to my 3:55 Ratio. Judging by this topic that doesnt seem like a bad deal. May need a brake job the owner metioned but It would be gone over real good and cleaned up before id throw it in anyway. What do you guys think?
  6. To my knowledge the MJ only came with an E fan if it was equipt with A/C from the factory but don't hold me to that :dunno:
  7. Threw in a fire extinguisher last evening for good measures.
  8. Installed this
  9. My hunt still continues. I'm looking for either an MJ or XJ 44, unless you have a good deal on a 29 spline 8.25 with LSD that is the only other option ill consider. If you got 1 or know of 1 please let me know. Thanks!
  10. Awesome! He should have plenty of fun with it
  11. As always I'm never done finding little things to add on. Threw on a set of JCR Unibody tie ins so my bumper can acctually be a legit recovery point now And I threw the 10 slot grill on alittle while back, here's a shot with my freshly sprayed off XJ as well  Thats it for now.....I'm still looking for a Dana 44 for the rear so if ya know any leads feel free to contact me.
  12. Well I stopped by the Shop on my way back 2 work and mentioned that spacer to them and to check it out. The truck is finished and will be picked up in the morning, they said I missed a steering bolt :hmm: So idk but as long as its aligned and tight I'm not gonna worry about it...ill give it a once over when it returns tomorrow either way
  13. Hmmmm well it hasnt fell out (nothing did during the process) but the truck is @ the shop now so if that was the cause theyll find it. i might just have 2 check that out as well...
  14. Always been 1 of my favorite MJs Keep up the build documents as well, love seeing your creations
  15. The Can Ams and Polaris Quads have many good reviews, I'm a Yamaha person @ heart so id go for a Grizzly 700  Just shop around but with most newer 4x4s they all have theyre advantages
  16. Just grab some basic sheet metal and cut to fit

Being 23 and still living @ home its plenty of money for now, still working on ATV Racing and hope to make a career out of somewhere in the Powersports Industry someday. O yeah plenty of Jeep money as well, we all know how important that is.
  18. All XJ/MJ fronts are the same from 84-96 Only MJ rears will fit.
  19. No No, it was the steering box (sorry bad vocab). I just simply unbolted it and remounted it while installing the brackets. I have no idea why it was effected, nothing was installed between the box and the frame... :???:
  20. Alright I installed my bumper tie-in brackets this afteroon and everything went smoothly. Anyway now that everything was tightened up my alignmet is all screwed up, it seems the LF tire is toed way out. I did a quick measurement with a friend and only got 1/8" toe-in difference. I straightend the steering wheel via the drag link as well. Would just unbolting and re bolting the Power steering pump throw an alignmet off that bad if at all?.....Its really no biggie, ill take it to the local shop on Monday but this just confused me. Either way I now have a usuable and reliable recovery point on the front of the MJ
  21. Ive never seen a "cold" air intake on an MJ. Most people just eliminate the airbox and install a cone filter. Gains are very minimal if at all. Overall IMO keep the OEM setup, itll filter much better and isnt hindering your 4.0/2.5 much at all
  22. Sweet Score! Parts MJs are always fun.
  23. I got pics of that thing sent to me a year or 2 ago, it was in North Carolina at the time.
  24. :rotfl2: Adam Richmond would be ashamed :rotf:
  25. Awesome!, yep black will look good, These skids look really cool on 2-3" lifted rigs
