  1. Got any better pics of how the rear suspension/ axle is attached? Very cool. Now I wanna do it! So far, for the cost and time, does it handle better or as well as you had hoped?
  2. Does anybody else listen to any interesting podcasts? I was turned onto "The Dollop" by a guy at work. 2 comedians take news stories and lesser known historical figures and articles and talk about them and make fun of them. I'm on episode 35 or so of almost 400. I started at the beginning. This is one of my favorites so far... **strong language, but hilarious. Enjoy Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  3. Today thru may 17th I'm having a "Vacation Sale"! Hitches are $145+shipping (lowest price I think I've had them at) Only deal with this sale is; I'm leaving for vacation on the 17th and will be gone 2 weeks. So it will be around 4 weeks to get this run of hitches built and ready. Hitches must be paid for before 11:59pm may 17th. Low price, longish wait.... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. Square pipe plug socket? That's what I'm going with. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  5. So its female on both ends? I was gonna say gripped extension but thsts not right... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  6. Location? Which tan? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  7. Seems like a lot more work and probably close to the same weight as a full rear axle... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  8. Ya theres not a huge market for either. Snd to sell them for big money I gotta spend big money and then the profit isnt really worth it. And with a built tube frame, the mj springs wouldn't work, I'd have to figure out the shock placement, I'd probably say use a new trailer axle instead...itd cost more than buying a junk truck and cutting it in half I'd think. 9. Looks like someone bought one of my hitches and never installed it tried to track them down but didnt come up with it...hmmm... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  10. I have no idea. I'm hoping soon! But I understand. It's been 8 months to this point... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  11. Ooooo fudgeee! Except I didnt say fudge. Prototypes finally cut! Now to be formed next week! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  12. Not sure about ZM, but none of the others fit. They're not tapered like the body front to rear. I had to make my sets Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  13. don't have any of those lol. I might have a decent drivers side rear bed quarter panel cut off under the taillight... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  14. I plan on possibly making a few sets of sliders (one of each set probably) and a few hitches, I'll have seat and rollbar brackets too. Interior pieces also Anybody needing anything specific? Let me know now so I'm prepared... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  15. I'm getting VERY irritated... I was told the prototypes will get cut out tomorrow. But ivr been told that 3 times already.... Sorry Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  16. I think Pete needs to come tooooooo! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  17. We'll probably be getting there later in the evening. 12 hour drive, losing an hour to time zone and hopefully making a pit stop to meet a member...[emoji16] probably be 9 or so... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  18. So nothing major. Cool. Now to find some clean grey covers Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  19. I think I know the answer from reading thru here but...I have some ripped flip forwards, can I find a clean set of 4 door covers and swap them on to the 2 door frames/foam? Just cut the flip arm slit?
  20. https://parts.doverdodgeparts.com/a/Jeep__Comanche/59891039__6382719/REAR-BUMPER-BUMPER-ASSEMBLY-PICK-UP-STEP-BUMPER/WB4205.html Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  21. Light tan or dark tan? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  22. Right^^^ CC is for technical answers. No idiots. But Facebook is where the parts are! I just bought an AMC 20 out of an MJ in Maryland Saturday. I've bought about 10 times more parts off Facebook than here. But I've learned about 100 times more on here than there. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  23. Parts for trailer #2 came home last night. This is the one for Cody. This guy cut the frame about an inch shorter than I did mine. But should work out the same. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  24. Yes, the frame end is capped off now. Even the tube with the coupler on it is capped off, figured that'd be the first place water and mud would get in to. And I think on this one, since itll probably be for me, I'll out a regular trailer axle with brakes under it. But on others I'm sure someone could tear apart the axle. The next few I build will have d35s under them since that's what's under those trucks now. Without perfect beds already on them or without getting perfect beds for free, theres not really any money in making and sell these. I've started to realize that. But I'm still gonna build em. Better than scrapping them! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  25. I'll have a 10 month old with me. That doubles my distance lol. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
