Scar-Fab frame stiffeners!
krustyballer16 replied to krustyballer16's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I think they weighed around 70lbs when I weighed the first round. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk -
Just depends on who is going where. Nebraska and washington seem like there wouldnt be as many people going there so finding that one person I think would be hard. I charged John J on here $600 to haul his MJ 3000 miles 2 years ago.... But also, I sold a 78 toyota camper truck to a guy in florida about 1000 miles away and the hauler charged him $1400. He also had 3 other vehicles and said the whole load was only $3100...so the buyer got kinda screwed there. The camper was physically the biggest vehicle on the trailer, not by much, but I know it wasnt the heaviest. I always try to plan deliveries along or at the end of my cross country trips so you need to look for someone going that way and coming back empty Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Has anybody shipped 4 rims before? Trying to think of the easiest and safest way to ship 4 turbine rims... Any way they're packaged seems awkward.... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

I'd pass it up. With the front and rear corners being dented at the body lines... looks solid but I don't think many people would pay much more than $150 for it off you after all your work Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

krustyballer16 replied to A-man930's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
So you're going to put the tubing inside that? You're making a version of hooligan's kit except yours catches and caps a little more than theirs? https://www.hooliganoffroad.com/products/xj-2x6-rocker-replacement-kit Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk -

And now all of a sudden it starts quickly EVERY time we try it. And runs as well as it ever could. CPS still reads .26v.... Weird Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk -

Not yet, will be starting monday. We have wiggled all connections. I just wanted to make sure I wasnt overlooking something simple and stupid. This is the hardest jeep I've worked on! I think its cursed! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk -
I bought an amazon $55 50" and compared it to my $560 50"... Way brighter and just as clean cut off... I probably wouldnt buy another expensive one again. I bought the cheap one to compare cuz the expensive one had moisture in it and the company was being $#!&ty and wouldnt warranty it out. So I compared the two and left a review on the expensive company's website and Instagram.... I've seen the rough country lights in person, not anything special in my opinion... Question! Got an 87 xj 4.0, bought it, it started great. Had lots of new sensors on it cuz the previous owner was having problems with it starting. He put a new throttle position sensor on it and that worked. So after a few months it's gone down hill to the point of not wanting to start at all. So we put 2 crank position sensors on it. First one we thought was defective (from o Reilly's) , second one tested defective too (from napa). BUT, after the 1st CPS, we pulled a plug wire to test spark and sparked it off the AC housing. It sparked and started instantly then the next day, nothing. So put the 2nd CPS on it, same issue. Pulled plug wire and put it on the AC, started instantly and will start a few times after, until the next day... What is the issue here? Has a new coil too. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

which factory license plate light trim do you have?
krustyballer16 replied to Pete M's topic in The Pub
I didnt even know there was a difference! But these are the 2 of mine I can find pics of... The white truck is a 90 eliminator. The bumper by itself is unknown. Not even sure where I got it from. Kryptronic owns both bumpers now. -

krustyballer16 replied to krustyballer16's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Little update: Got Betty filled with fluids, a gas tank rigged up cuz the one in it was filled with nasty rust (not worth saving), driveshaft out of my cummins MJ swapped in, electric fan wired to the battery. Started it up, let it run, checked for leaks;none Checked levels of fluids; good. Put it in gear;it lurched forward as I held the brakes. Good enough for the night! Hopefully I can do more tonight. (Gotta weld up some hitches for some members!) But according to Bo, this is the first time in 12 years that this truck has moved under it's own power since the owner before me, besides Bo, blew it up...YAY! Everything up to this point and even from here in out has been very simple to fix and get finished up, I just havent had time to work on her. Getting closer! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
