  6. I bought my 87 Shelby Charger from them in Aug 94. The trans went a week after I got it, no warranty. They replaced the trans, clutch, motor mounts, and both front axles with a cost to me of $150! They were small but treated people right. I used to live in Scottdale for a while. 116 Bradley Street, small world.
  7. I do not have the time to part it out. I tried selling the whole thing with a lot of other parts for $150 and nobody would buy it. It will be going away this weekend.

  10. A little cutting and plastic welding and you can make the 97+ flares work. See my old tuck's flares in this post http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3430&hilit=black+betty I never did finish them but I will probably be trying it again sometime.
  11. Same seats and door panels that mine had. She was 100% bone stock with these. Mine had the mini console though.

  14. I go a gallon of it a few years ago while at the SEMA show in las Vegas. It works pretty good. From what I hear you will clean aluminum nicely too.
  15. I read somewhere to unlock the hatch with the key or the passenger door to rest the alarm? i am pretty sure it was the hatch though.
  16. There were factory roll bars offered. They are getting harder to find now a days. If I stumble on a nice chrome one I will be buying it to replace this one.
  17. I bought the "roll bar" off jbhill. It is an aftermarket aluminum one. It was in a Ranger at one time. I cut it down and made it a little wider to follow the MJ lines better. I debated on selling it at one point but, it is starting to grow on me.
  18. Eagle, i am using all the wiring and electronics from a 97 XJ. So the search is on for a TJ tank and cluster.

  20. I like to color too. I also like the hockey stripes. It keeps that whole 80's feel to the truck.
  21. That is about right. There is no drivetrain in the truck yet so the front should come down a couple inches.
  22. It is possible that he never did get the tank dry. I could deal with that fact that I always still had fuel in the tank and had to fill up more often. The idea of guessing when it was empty or counting miles does not go over well with me. I would hate for a sensor to go out and start eating gas and run out. I called 2 different dealers and had them check the FSM and I read it on the web too. If a TJ cluster will go in with a little trimming than I will go with the TJ tank and cluster. Do you by chance know who did the cluster swap on NAXJA? I would like to read how hard it was to do. Thanks for the tip Eagle. EDIT: I found this on NAXJA Looks like I will be getting a TJ tank and cluster now!
  23. I know James, sorry for not getting it sooner. It will be a couple more weeks before I can get down there to pick it up. I will be working this weekend then I leave for a week right after that. I will be home on the 22nd. Maybe I can pick it up that weekend?
  24. Am I thinking right that I will run out of gas before the gauge hits empty or will it read empty and still have some left in the tank? Anyone know?
  25. I never really said, opps. It has RC drop brackets, 4.5" RE coils, and a JKS track bar up front. The rear is a SOA using stock 2WD leaf packs and Ruff Stuff Dana 44 Easy Swap kit. The tires and wheels are factory Rubicon take offs with the stock 245/75/16 MTRs.
