well to make a long story short :roll: kinda, back in highschool long befor the manch came around my budy picked up this bone stock 75 ramcharger and i fell in love with it and i told him that if he ever sold it i would buy it . about 4 years later i was gearing up to go to school in north carolina and need a reliable dd and it just so happens that he was selling it so i jumped on the oppertunity and baught it and we made a deal that if the truck was ever to be sold again that it would be only between us. 3 years later I'm signing the pink back over to the budy i got it from because i just baught the rubicon and was forced to sell the ram by the wife . 3 years later (present day) i was at a friends house for a mothers day/b-day party (my b-day is next week) and the wife drives up in my old ramcharger , gets out and tosses me the keys and says go take yer truck for a drive . lets just say i was a little shocked :banana: the plan is to turn it in to the family hotrod well here she is its a built 360 ,holly 670 truck avenger ,DT headers ,727 ,4"lift on 33 and some other things.

all i got to say is RENTAL CAR , the last car we jumped was a brand new 07 dodge charger (the damn v6 though) .it was the day befor my wedding and me and 4 other budies just left the bar (10 am by the way) to go get some damn present thing for the wife to be and on the way i got the bright idea to launch it down the steepest hill in monterey. I'm not gona speculate on the hight or distance but i do know that we hit it at 55mph , that was 8) . o and there was a sober driver :brows:

alot of vehicles came from the factory with a coating like that on the rockers , but i wouldnt everthink of using duplicolor on that , i used that crap on the interior of my manch and i hate it, i used the hurcaliner on the bed and it was ok . i would sugest the hurcaliner befor the duplicolor .

dude I'm glad every one is fine but isnt this like the second vehicle she has totaled in like a year or something ? wasnt the last one a wj ? if so i think yal need to have a little talk or something

i always refer to it as the pushability factor which of course has many variables such as make ,model ,year ,location and condition of the vehicle etc... For instance when I'm driving my 05 rubicon unlimited (the stock dd)i don't have much pushability . people usualy don't care one way or the other if they cut/piss me off because my jeep is fairly new and worth somthing . When I'm in a school bus people generaly cut me off at will, (even when children are aboard) get pised because I'm not doing 5-10 over the speed limit in a school zone and not bobing and weaving in and out of trafic. But when I'm in the manche people keep their distance, don't cut me off and get the hell out of my way when they see me coming and I'm always first at a 4-way stop because they see that i aint got much to loose and that another scratch or dent is a just another story around the camp fire and not a point on my record.

Yes that is a good idea but the check engine light stays on 3-5 seconds after the engine is running and u should be building oil pressure during cranking which would turn the light off prematurely

uh ya ,i got the computer controled carb , the califorina model

ok iv been thinking of a way to get around the emissions stuf in califorina and even though geting rid of the curent carb and swaping in the weber setup would net better performance and probably still pass the sniffer they won't go for it. So what i want is a way to retain the MIL by means of some sort of timer that will turn it on with ignition and off 5 seconds after the engine is runing. 86 3.4 v6 ya ya ya i know its ilegal but i don't care

You know, I was looking at our C2500 the other day, and I realized that it has a hydroboost brake set up. $1000 is a little much now. Its definitely a cool idea though, and would really be a sweet setup! now if u got the kit which is 500$ and just tweaked ur curent power steering pump which is outlined in the DIY section u could save u some money

yes if u want to stay legal u gota run the 2b intake , but depending on where u live and what all they look for u might be able to run the weber 2b setup and still be legal along with the EGR . u wouldnt happen to know which carb u have would u , its either the 2SE(non computer controled) or E2SE (computer controled) .?

that is funny but that stuf don't hurt that bad , when i lived in north carolina me and some friends would get together (most every night) and get totaly hamered and and play with a taser . we would see how long it would take each person to tap out per say and for the longest time i had these little 1/8" round burn marks spaced about 2"apart all over my body, boy those were the days :cheers:

This is mine , its 2x4 3/16 with some 2"pipe sliders a 2" reciever , some D-shackels and a couple o lights

yup , check it at idle and and o say 2k and it should be no more than 14.7v

This is what i run , its a flowmaster 2 chamber with a 4" turn down and is very loud just how i like it :brows: :roll:
