    been a while

man this is like the first time i been on comanche club in like forever. i moved back to michigan from new jersey and have been working non stop ever since. first i was in natchez miss. with my dad gutting an old tire factory, then the hurricane was coming so we came back home on saturday, labor day weekend. then i started at the new job site in toledo demo'ing a couple school with the new company i work for. been working 12 hour days for 2 weeks now, got 70 hours this week so far, gonna be rolling in dough next week i can't wait, but yesterday i was almost killed on the job site, we use a rock crusher to crush all the brick and concrete etc into small stone to get rid of it, then use a screening plant to sort the rock from under 1'' 2'' and 3'' gravel. well a machine operator was running an excavator and wasn't paying attention and swung his boom and hit one of the conveyor belts on the side of the screen plant and broke it a few weeks ago, the screen plant needed to be moves from one site to the next, and when i was delivered we went to swing ot the conveyoer arms (there are 2 that swing out, about 50 feet long and weigh about 3k each) and when i pulled the pin out to let the arm swing out it collapse right on me pinning me to the ground unable to move or get out. after a few seconds i was able to get my back out from under it, cutting up my back but my left knee was still pinned to the ground under it, my dad was standing nearby and was able to lift up the end about an inch to give me enough room to get my knee out. i couldnt move my leg. went to the hospital had 2 hot nurses take off my clothes :D and check me out. got about 10 xrays of my back and knee and it turns out it was just some scrapes on my back and a deep contusion in my thigh just above my knee. so i am ok just walking with a bad limp now. cliff notes - moved back to michigan, work a ton almost died at work crushed by about 3000 pounds, turns out no broken bones, just walk with a limp for now, but get better soon.

my dad and i were working down in natchez mississippi and left on friday morning due to gustav most likely gonna be reeking havoc down there better be safe than sorry
  7. x2 that is the best way to start a new tank just reuse some stuff from another tank. but the wait is the worst you have a nice tank all lit up but bare bones. it really gets too you, but if you put fish in too soon they die and that can be costly
  8. glad it was recovered
  9. and my clown has made a trip to and from michigan to new jersey with no problems what so ever
  10. i have a 6 gallon tank with a single clown crushed coral substrate and a litle live rock. it used to be a 35 gallon tank with a skimmer and about 8 fish 2 clowns, yellow tang, coral beauty, flame angel, and a few others i don't remember. and at least 30 pounds of live rock with a few inverts the guy at the fish store we always went to told us to use this product to kill algae and it killed all the fish in 2 hours execpt the 2 clowns, so we quickly changed them to the quarentine tank and kept them in there efver since, after about 6 months the one clown died but the other one i have had almost 7 years now

    E85

you wouldn/t most likely blow up your engine if you ran it, but you would most likely run lean, you need more of it to equal gasoline. but it has an octane rating of over 100 so high hp applications is really good. but certain rubbers in the fuel system will be eaten away by the e85 unless its made to run on both.

    rustysoffroad

i have bought stuff, don't remember it taking too long for shipping
  14. most lugnuts have the caps on them, or are open ended which is worse than having messed up caps because you can get them off, but you can't (normally) get rusted open ended lugs off without a broken wheelstud
  15. ahhh reminds me of my z28 i had for about a week, then i got rid of it because of too much michigan rust

    "Growlers"

i haven't heard of anyone running the growlers, but some people i heard tlaked bad about the rockers, i never used them so i don't know. but they are biasply so street driving porbably isn't gonna be the best
  17. good deal for just light use, but i have a titanium ingersol rand rated at 800# torque and it has every bit of it. but i use it everyday so i can justify the expense.
  18. i had them alot when i lived in michigan, they were good but too sweet for me
  19. i run 75w 90 royal purple in my tj with stock axles. i didn't really notice any difference in anything but i figure the better quality products my tj should last longer
  20. i played this all night last night. down under you need to make like a pendulum to swing. and 4 balls think conveyor belt.. http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=92470 this is my level 20
  21. personally my feelings, if you have the sway bar use it. in the past my xj didn't and you would never notice a difference. now the jeeps unlimited thread. 60+ mph in any suv in an emergency manuver is gonna get you to roll over, especially if you truck is lifted. i can talk from expiriance since i have rolled a vehicle before, and it was a car going about 70-80 not an suv. most suv's will roll at anything over 35mph STOCK, so his lifted xj rolled not because of no swaybar (99.9% positive because i wasn't there, and speed and brakes play the biggest part in losing control of the vehicle) but because he tried to swerve to avoid an accident when he should have hit them head on.
  22. unbolt the cover, hit it with a rubber mallet until it pops off makes sure there is a drain pan under it. clean the gasket surface of the cover and diff with a scraper or a cookie disc if you have one. spray it out with brake cleaner if you want to get all rtv out of diff. inspect the carrier and spiders etc. then use rtv to reseal the cover, be generous, bolt it down. then fill it to just below the fill hole of the cover.

i wanted to go, but had noone to go with
  24. that zj looks ugly  but i want a zj so bad.
  25. for me tire balance was never ever an issue, it was always more a mechanical or worn out part. i see tire balance causing all sorts of problems, and possibly when the DW happens due to the balance it causes undue stress to other parts like the trackbar and wheres it out quicker. just a guess but i don't know. but definiatly after lifting a vehicle the most important thing is the alignment and getting the the adjustments made, and checking for worn/loose parts periodically as everyone should
