    DJ wall art:

That would be cool to paint up, make the lights work with house current and put it up in a garage or shop so it can be turned on with a wall switch
  2. When you are viewing the pictures in your album, point the mouse at the picture you want and a little drop down of codes will appear below the picture. Slide the mouse pointer down to the "img" code, click on it to activate it, right click it to copy and then paste it in here. Somehow, you are generating a "thumbnail" code and copying that... :dunno:
  3. AHHHH well... hopefully the right person will find it and fix it back up. That is a lot of work that I would likely not take on right now either.
  4. If you are going to swap the booster and master to a newer style and use the front prop valve that comes with the new style, then you can easily do away with that rear valve and just plumb everything to match the new set-up. If you are going to keep the rear valve, then you will have to make adjustments to it when you lift the truck as the lift will cause the shaft running form the valve to the axle to be too short.
  5. When we did mine on the YJ, we bolted everything in place, but not so tight that it couldn't be moved, set it on the ground, hooked up the drive shaft and then used a small floor jack to push the pinion up until we had it where we wanted it and tacked the perches in place. It took all of about 5 minutes to do. There is no need to keep picking it up and putting it back down again.
  6. >>>ORDERING IS CLOSED<<< I have replied to all of the last minute orders from last night so please get those payments to me ASAP as I am working on getting the shirts ordered today, but I cannot order what is not paid for.
  7. Nice!! Is he actually shipping them to you for $60? I noticed that it said Local Pick-up... :dunno:
  8. They have been discontinued by Chrysler a while ago, but there have been some limited inventories still available. They are definitely getting hard to find new (if at all), but they are not "rare" enough to warrant someone trying to get $350 for a pair of used ones that had "a small crack in the corner" and "could use some polishing" ;)
  9. I know that Motion stuff is good from feedback on here, but the Rocky Road stuff should be avoided. Their (RR) kits are no where near complete and they are "cheap".
  10. That site always has a lot of good info, but I found this a bit funny... There is no such thing as a '92 ZJ" (they started in '93) so that would likely be why he has something different :rotf:
  11. :agree: ...but...I also would check for a ballast resistor issue as well to be covered. You can just bypass it for a short time to see if there is any difference. There is also a ground for the fuel pump that is hidden behind the left tail light that you should check / clean ;)
  12. OH...that's right...I didn't pay attention to the fact that you said A/T...sorry.
  13. I took it that he wanted to know what axles should have come in his truck...thus my 1st response.
  14. Most any dealership should have them in stock. I know we always kept them in stock at the one I worked at. There are 3 o-rings you will need and these are the OE part numbers... 33002970 33002971 33002972
  15. As I recall from the other thread, you were looking at doing only about a 4" kit. If you go SOA you are going to get 5"-6" lift in the rear so you will need a 6"-6.5" lift in the front to keep it level and that is going to require A LOT more money in a complex kit unless you want your front end to be 3" lower than the rear... :ack: ;)
  16. On trucks this old they don't even look at odometer statements any more so it doesn't matter. The mileage portion of the title is ignored after a certain number of years so there should be nothing illegal about it.
  17. Yep...I have used my air hammer (and a few choice words) on a few of those... :fs1:
  18. You are going to most likely need a 29 or 30 tooth gear according to those charts. The 235 by conversion is a 28.9" tall tire, but in real life it typically measures at 28" so you will need to actually measure the height of your tires to be sure of which one to get. Most of the speedo gears that you find today are for the later model Jeeps with the shorter shaft so you will likely have to do as I kdid and swap the shafts to make it work. I had a speedo gear out of my '95 YJ that was the right tooth count for the MJ with 31's on it, but the shaft was wrong so I simply changed them...not hard to do at all.
  19. I have now emailed back and forth a couple times with the guy selling the tail lights. I offered him information to show that he was asking way too much for them with links to site that they could be found at new for a lesser price than he thought he could get for the used ones. He was a little pissy at first, but he ended up being decnet about it in the end and understood where I was coming from  .
  20. It was just a guy selling a pair of '88 MJ tail lights with a starting price of $100 and a buy it now of $350. It had a reserve, but who nows what that was. He also had NO PAYPAL in big red letter at the end of his description which is against eBay policy evidentally
  21. Unless thay have been changed, you will have a D30 (Dana 30) front and either a D35 or D44 rear. Look here for a chart to help you figure it out... AXLE CHART
  22. I am surprised that it was removed actually. I went and checked the payment rules again and discovered that for a couple categories that checks & money orders are allowed...and eBay Motors is one that is allowed. I don't typically list in the allowed categories so I guess that's why I thought it was a general rule. Anyway...I didn't pay close attention, but the ones I looked up where Black on parts direct and run in the $67 range. They don't show any red or chrome any more. 56001353 - left 56001354 - right
  23. Although the crazy JY near me wants $500 - $800 for an 8.8 regardless of year if it has disc brakes... :shake: . They are known for being crazy high priced on everything though.
  24. I reported it. eBay threatened to pull some of my stuff for advertising that I took money orders. They changed their rules and no longer allow anyone to advertise accepting money orders...it MUST be PayPal of another "approved" e-payment method. Anyway...yes, you can still get them new for between $65 & $90 each depending on where you go.
  25. I chose the Healthcare field because I felt that it was going to be the least likely to be affected by the economy and I have already learned a fair amount from my wife being in Pharmacy for around 23 years now ;) . I't always scary to think about spending $17,000 - $19,000 on something that you "hope" is going to work out for the best.
