  1. Great job!! I have got to get a welder. The last time I welded...mig & tig were not an option  . Guess I will have a little learning to do when I get one.
  2. Must be something with my PC. I am on my laptop right now and it works fine... :dunno:
  3. I keep getting this error message when I try to vote all of the sudden... :dunno: I have cleared my cookies and made sure they are set properly, but nothing is working. :hateputers: Image Not Found
  4. I work at 4WD Hardware. I just have to walk to the showroom to get these. The $170 is the showroom cost, and I pay much lower for them....actually lower than the ones on Precision :brows: :beerhead: AHHHH.... I knew there had to be a good reason :D
  5. Have not heard of them, but I am curious as to why you seem to be avoiding the Precision injectors when they could save you a fair amount of money and they come with a lifetime warranty? :dunno:
  6. Didn't see it, but wish I had...
  7. WOW... and wrapped in a box too. I have had leafs shipped a few times and I have never seen them wrapped like that. They always get sipped with just the sticker stuck to the spring and sent bare. Anyway.. Congrats...
  8. 30# injectors are too much for most 4.0L aspirated strokers too, although someone might be doing it. Even the Hesco 4.9L stroker runs 24# injectors, although at a higher pressure. Exactly...I am not real sure that there is a use for a 30# injector in a 4.0L engine. Those are for the Fords with the well built V-8 racing motors.
  9. lol. well she did just buy me some bumper lights for the lude... ;) Of course I'm about to buy her some wheels and tires for her beater Civic... but thats to offset the fact I have to make a trip to Fl soon :D Speaking of a trip to FL... sending PM...
  10. I am waiting to see when you post that she is buying you the Jeeps parts
  11. haha... What a great bunch!!!!!!!!!!! Crap.... hot linking again...... OK... I can see it... OH...BTW...I hotlinked too. Just so you know I am not saving pics of your girl on my computer ;) .
  12. Now that is really cool. I had missed that somehow.
  13. He is converting using the Moroso metal tank like Eagle did.
  14. No...those will not work. They are a high flow injector and will run WAY to rich. The wire connection looks to be right, but it's rated at 30lb flow and our injectors are 19lb ;) .
  15. This is the link directly to the page for the ones you need. It's the same ones that I installed in my '88 4.0L and also in my '95 YJ 4.0L... http://www.precisionautoinjectors.com/p ... roductId=7 Very easy job, nothing else to be changed, but you just need to be careful with the little retainer wires in the electrical plugs as they can be a bit of a PITA. It also helps (when putting the new ones in) to put a VERY small amount of grease on the orings before trying to push them in. Be very careful so you so not get the grease on the inlet end of the injector as it will clog it if it get's inside.
  16. I was just wondering the same thing. I have seen that be a problem more than once.
  17. Rickie must have a support group going somewhere like Steph has here.
  18. question: how is the beer in his left hand not spilling. :D Centrifugal Force of course... That was going to be my exact answer... :rotfl2:
  19. Sounds like a fuel pressure problem. Probably have a fuel pump going bad. See if you can get a guage and check the pressure. The wheels studs all look OK so how dod the wheel come off  Sorry to hear about the tough luck  .
  20. 8) Sweet... Wow...where are you? Not a tree in sight... :???: Couldn't do that here right now in this heat  ;) .
  21. :hmm: I think you may have replied in the wrong place. We are talking about engine/performance mods & fuel injectors here... ;)
  22. Exactly...the 231 can not be driven on any solid surface as it will break.
  23. They are WAY too expensive though. I had looked at them, but then I met the owner of Precision Auto Injectors and set up the deal through them for all of my Jeep friends ;) .
  24. If she keeps up the current rate of approximately 250 votes a day...she should have about 7500 total for the contest
  25. That is called Hot Linking and you should be careful about doing it. There are a lot of people out there that will get real pissy about it (not that they can do anything to you as it's not illegal or anything) because you are using thier band width. I was using a hosting service that limited my bandwidth for a while and I kept getting over my limit and didn't know why. I came to find out that there was several folks on an Aussie website/forum that were copying my stuff in the fashion that you have described and every time someone did the copy/paste thing it would eat up more of my available bandwidth. You probably already know all of this, but I guess it may benefit someone reading it. ;) Thanks for your attention. :smart: is now out.
