  1. No need to pull it. Just curious is all.
  2. More so the wiring to make it work is what I’m wondering about. Do you have a diagram?
  3. Finally finishing out the compressor room. Needed three sheets of material. I really need to at least fix the axle seal in the truck.
  4. Could you elaborate on what’s going on here?

    Big changes

Good luck! Stop by if you’re swinging through this way.
  6. Hu! I should do that with my setup.
  7. Had another look at the prop valve in my parts pile. MJ... it's from an MJ. Go figure.
  8. Time to start thinking about sparks/dust control. Started with just one heavy clear shower curtain. Might add another.
  9. Anything that anyone builds for themselves is always something to be proud of!
  10. No way that’s a ‘66. It’s an AMC CJ5 in every way except for the title?
  11. Wait… don’t you have the wheeling rig you’ve been trying to sell? Not judging… we all do it.
  12. Non factory graphics but the body looks great minus the hood. Good deal. https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/denver-1989-jeep-comanche/7516671010.html
  13. This has been bugging me lately too. Could’ve sworn I had something lined up for that. Oh! So that’s where I left that switch panel! Also going through my pile of parts finding things to piece together a rear tire carrier.
  14. There’s so much more room in my shop with this in here instead of my truck! The CJ got granted shop access because the other day I noticed the radiator overflow bottle was falling apart. It had a couple tabs at the top that it hung from. They decided to give up. In its place I installed a smaller unit from my parts pile. Then I got looking at other small stuff that bothers me. This started with the hood latches that were bolted down backwards… … and then I cut my leg on the winch cable for the last time. Much better!
  15. Good point. I don’t recall if I did anything with the grounds in the cab. On the note of bushings, I put in new about ten years ago… I think.
  16. This is a problem I’ve had for almost as long as I’ve had my truck. My wipers suck. Doesn’t seem to matter if the switch is on high, low, or anywhere along the delay… they’re slow. Fortunately (when it was actually driven) it never seemed to be in the rain. Now I was fiddling with some interior stuff so I put another wiper module in it out if my pile. Seems to me that I’ve tried putting a few of those in with the same awful result. Thoughts? Wiring? Wiper motor? Truck in question is an ‘88 Eliminator.
  17. And then a year later?… it still hasn’t gotten worked on. I’ve been busy getting my shop in order and I came across some parts that were allocated for it though. The center console got cleaned up some by putting a nicer insert in it and I changed a burned out bulb while I had it apart. Not sure why the four cylinder trucks got a way better radiator overflow bottle, but they did and I had one in the pile. That got installed. Then something else I’ve been wanting to put back on are the rubber side moldings. I need to clean them up and get some molding tape. … and one “proof of existence” picture.
  18. Anyone know which one this is? Stamped with 5KH2900. Thanks, all!
  19. … it’s tomorrow. Just when I start thinking that I’m getting ahead of cleaning and organizing I decide to start on the next area. Today was the loft… and the loft means going through parts. Most of what I had left stashed away was split up between my little shed and the back of the truck. I think I’ll be putting a bunch of stuff up for sale, but it’s nice to see the floor of the bed!
