I used aircraft stripper on my alum wheels and I think they turned out pretty good. Most labels say to leave it on for about 15-30 minutes, but alum will etch! I left it on in steps of 5 minutes and didn't have any issues. Follow that up with some wet 600 grit and then wet 800 grit sandpaper. After that, polish by hand... figure about an hour per wheel.

Wow! Just a subtle difference really changes the overall appearance of the truck! I like it!... kinda reminds me of another red/black Eliminator on here... :thumbsup:

How much drop do you want? If you use the rear coils out of a ZJ it should be good for about 2" of drop... I think. Can someone verify this?

I did something similar only with a center in/offset out muffler. Mine did hang a bit lower so the exhaust tilts up a bit at the tranny crossmember to help. Kept it higher than the frame and the fuel tank. If cost is an issue, I went to an exhaust shop and purchased 10' of tubing, had 3' cut off and had some bends put in it to work with, and just an off-the-shelf performance muffler... about $50 invested.
