Again, very excited to see an update! I’ve been following this thread since the first post. Welcome back!
-
Ha! This morning was my biannual reminder to wash up the clock that lives over the stove.
-
I’ve been hoping for an update like that! Looking forward to updates again.

Welcome! Where in Colorado are you located? There’s a few of us sprinkled around the state. -

Questions as I collect parts & what not

A 30” is about as big as you can go under a short bed. I removed the riveted in panel behind the bumper to get mine to fit. -
Just got the confirmation from the insurance company that I’m good to go!

Thanks! The plan was to do a green door in the spring, but the existing red has grown on me. I’ll probably get enough to do the front door on the house along with the top half of the shed. Hasn’t thought of orange though…

Spicer 706112X for a Dana 44. This part number is for 70’s vintage 3/4 ton trucks and they’re about 5/32” thick. Not sure I’d pull one from a used rig because of their age, but they’re cheap and easy to find.

Ugh… Not exactly the perfect time of year for this type of project, but we’ve got a homeowners insurance requirement to either move the little shed 10’ away from the house or reside it in fire resistant materials. I chose the siding route. The bottom will get the same skirting as the house and the cement board will get painted in the spring. I’ve got until early March to get things “insurance done” and I’m hoping for another weekend with workable weather.

2 door seat slider trim

Either drill a hole on the other side and send the roll pin all the way through, or sharpen a trim nail, hammer it in there, and try to extract the roll pin. -

Two, actually. I little while back I contacted Strokermjcomanche about his 3D printed repops from years back. He told me that he thought he still had some around, but then he posted about loosing his mom and job. Haven’t brought it up since. I’m in no real hurry, but I also don’t really notice the lack of frames since reinstalling the original seats… suppose I might if I drove the truck more. -
I reluctantly cut a large hole in my welding table today. Next step to finish up the downdraft table is to get a sink basket and connect the dots with some exhaust tubing.

We’ll see how it goes. Of the head units I was comparing, this one was the least offensive in appearance and I got tired of sifting through radios that were new but was trying to look not so new. Some had options I liked, but looked too old. Others had more of an ‘80s/‘90s look but the backlighting was a goofy color or something else. This one was a familiar platform, doesn’t look like a disco-tech, and wasn’t terribly priced. -
How about some in-depth pictures or a thread on the Crewmanche mentioned in the article too?
