  1. Thanks for that! I got a "55" and that was all. On the other hand, it started right up without any fuss. Maybe just needed to get something out of its system? :dunno:
  2. I thought about that too but figured that the truck wasn't smart enough for that. Can anyone confirm?
  3. I've got a '91 HO, 4.0L. Starting just yesterday, it'll crank and crank and crank and not start. However, it will start if you hold the gas to the floor and keep cranking. When doind that, it'll start a little rough then seem to run just fine. I was hoping for something dumb like the fuel filter, but after changing that and the spark plugs it's still doing it. Any ideas from the greats? Thanks dudes!
  4. PM sent on parts truck. Cool project!

  6. I know... I know... Again, after winter and I build my shop again, it'll go under the knife.
  7. I still say you rename the thread to "Project Tetanus Shot". :D
  8. Got a little more done on this thing today. Simple stuff... changed the oil, finished the brakes in the rear so they don't lock up everytime I hit the pedal, and I got the speedometer working. The needle jumps around like an old librarian's finger showing the way to the fiction section, but it works! What happened was the cable broke so I went in and changed it out. Not a big deal, but not sure why the needle jumps like it does. It's not terrible by any means, just rattles between 5 mph of how fast you're actually going. Eh... oh, well. I also tried on a new to me set of shoes. Yup, not quite ready for 33s just yet.
  9. Uh... that's right, this is a family site.
  10. PM sent. Gotta be sportin' some fly new threads!
  11. qt82cCjByCw Weekly bump.
  12. Thanks! Don't know if anyone else noticed, but it's nice to see another Eliminator for this year's November as well!
  13. You rock! Good catch on that one, Brent! Spare some parts?
  14. Workin' on it... workin' on it. Waiting on December, then they should be ready to go. Since I moved recently, I need to figure out another printer for the job. They'll be ready... probably!
  15. Yeah... photochoppin' does wonders!
  16. Tell you what... come and get it and it's free! I was playing around with some photochoppin' again and this is the vision in my head thus far: That plus half doors, tube rockers, and a little less ZZ Top on the paint scheme.
  17. I finally drove this thing in the daylight! Took care of some yard work this morning and got it stuck in the back corner of my property... I guess the "good 4x4" wasn't so good after all. Pulled it out with the Eliminator and went back to work with it. So, what else could it be but the CAD so that got locked in place with a big ol' stack of washers. Done! Also took a look at the lack of a speedometer. Needs a cable... not sure if I'll actually fix that or not. Pictures! Anyone need a bedliner?
  18. ... any ball cap? Or a CC ball cap? ... oh, dude... what don't I have?
  19. Bump for updates... no silly video this time. Looking for another for a Renix 4.0L also.
  20. It's settled! CC pow wow in Gilbert!
  21. :agree:
  22. ... not to be "that guy", but... ... it's okay, you can be as jealous as you want.
  23. Wow... this dude pops on this site just in May and this gorgeous truck just leapt into everyone’s eye. For real, this thing is just beautiful. The addition of the few non-original parts give it this "factory plus" look to it. It's all factory parts, but the order and choice on them is spot on. Not too much, just enough to make you look at it and wonder if Jeep could've made it. Thank you for building this truck and congratulations!
  24. Bump... yoGuL5d8nRY
