  1. Here... now build it.
  2. Euro STYLE... not Euro MANUFACTURER!! :D
  3. Eurowerks? That's an awesome show! Might take some persuasion, but I bet they'd let in a Euro spec MJ. It'd fit right in! I've always thought there was a connection here. Jeep offered the Sportruck trim... VW offered the Sportruck trim.
  4. That's awesome... totally because I'm familiar with the material! You should make up a boser hood for it too! Don't forget to roll the fenders.
  5. Euro plate? Man, you ARE a VW guy! :laughin: Sorry to hear about the bumper though.
  6. ^Agreed. I think there are plenty who would think that if you were to take the effort of swapping everything over, including the wiring, that you might as well just do a 4.0 swap. I'd say that if you don't need a 4.0 and you're happy with the 2.5 then just run with it. Not just the updated fuel delivery, but the updated wiring by itself. 10 years newer is a big difference when you're talking decay of wiring. What rear axle are is in the XJ? I think I'd even swap those over for the fewer miles.
  7. I ran for a couple months with old and busted sensors and took my numbers. Sensors were then changed/cleaned for another run of numbers. Found an old notebook last night with that was keeping track of my millage. I got similar numbers.
  8. Welcome! Congratulations for having my current favorite avatar here! ... love that movie!!
  9. I made one up a number of years ago just for something else to play with. It held about a gallon of water. Installed it in my old '89 Eliminator and it was actually a noticeable bump in millage! I don't remember off hand, but the truck was a 4.0, manual, 3.07s on 33s. All depends on the amount of power you put to it, how many plates are submerged in the water, how close they are, so on, so on. I found that I had the best results when I went through and cleaned/replaced all the sensors. There's a ton of information online at most of it looks like smoke and mirrors. Do some real research on the differences on what might work and the magical "do-it-yourself and save millions" kits.
  10. Anything in the parts manuals regarding manufacturer? Mounting?
  11. YES!!! Awesome as all get out only for the fact that the robots aren't just playing some instruments... THEY'RE ROCKIN' THE @#$% OUT!!! :rock on: ... I've got a new challenge for the Mechatronics program at my school!
  12. Very aware of these. Not totally interested. Thanks though!

I looked over those pictures for about an hour trying to make up my own variation of Where's Waldo only instead of Waldo it was Jeeps. Sorry, BJ... best I could find was a few newer Grands, a couple Wranglers, and a Liberty or two.
  16. Wait... whoa... what? Are we to expect a build on this truck? Please?
  17. I love teaser pictures!
  18. Yeah, I figured as much. Out of curiosity, does anyone even have one? Pictures?
  19. The angled fender cuts actually got me thinking. I think the lines are kind of cool, it's just the execution that's a bit lacking. Finish it off with some flares from a Colorado and I think there might be something there! I think with a little work, these would look pretty sharp with a '97+ conversion:
  20. Several months later... bump. Fingers still crossed. Cramping up, but still crossed. :crossfingers:
  21. Getting everyone all built up and then no updates for weeks? Patience bear waits for updates.
  22. Just took the shackles out of the box from Backdraft. Everything looks great!... not to mention the hours of fun from the bubble wrap! Thanks, Mike!
  23. Sorry, everyone. No calendars this year. The first year went okay then last year went so-so. The up front cash it takes to do this doesn't make sense to gamble again this year. Still sitting on a bunch of them from 2012. I had a few people ask me if I was doing it again and they all got the same reply. If I had 30 asking then I'd love to keep going. Again, sorry to everyone and thanks for the interest over the last couple years.
