let me restate that because that is a bunch of gibberish. i have 3 inch lift setup for the front without shocks and a 1-2 for the rear ready to go on the truck. i currently have some ranchos on it right now. since its a street goer for now and its not a giant lift would the shocks i already have work?
i have some ranchos shocks on my truck right now i have a 3 inch lift for the front and a 1-2 for the rear if i don't wheel it and screw around with it can i run the factory size shocks since its not a huge lift?
after i replaced my master cylinder i flushedthe system just to waste time because i was bored. but after about 5000 miles the fluid has turned black. any ideas whats causing it? is it even a big deal?
washington sure knows how to build em. this guy built it the exact way i want mine done, cept i would keep the tailgate and have rusty's bulge fenders. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/3037046149.html
ive been toying with the idea. ever since i threw my truck sideways for the first time i wanted a drift truck but comanches are so easy to modify. and for some reason the front ends never lose traction. i was thinking like a 2wd lowered a bit 4.0 or 2.5 mated to a 5 speed with a dana 44 with lsd. has anybody made a drift mj before?
So ive been keeping this military prerunner trophy truck theme going with my jeep. well the other day i rolled by a guys house at a local airfield in buckley and saw these two little gems and a cj3 he wouldnt let me photography the cj but he let me take these what do you think?
I like this one because it makes the trucks stance really stick out.
so as I'm sitting here looking at all this information. I'm thinking homemade fenders will look to goofy and most likely ruin the truck. and for the price of bushwackers i think i would just put forward another 50 and rustys bulge fenders for the front and figure out something else for the bed. keep the whole trophy truck look going.
my buddy has a suburban sitting on 44s that he made home made out of stuff like this http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R ... reId=10051 I'm going to try something similar but use a heatgun and some other tricks to make it look nice because i don't feel like spending $360 on a $1000 truck. but i want to know how everything bolts up
that looks awesome! totally going that route. does anybody have a pic of how the mount up or at least the hardware involved. I'm gonna make my own home brewed flares and see how nice i can make them. but i have no clue how they mate up to the sheet metal
has anybody put them on their comanche? ive seen em on a xj but i want to know what the end result would be on my truck. any pictures would be helpful along with how they mount up to the fender. thanks
theres something about a green mj that just looks so right. i have the same black wheels cept i went for real cragars and got them 15x10. fenders trimmed but man it has a wide stance.
does anybody elses transfer case whine like nothing else in 4 low? my girlfriends ranger and my buddies s10 are dead silent. just wanted to know if this is normal
well i write this because i read an article about the wagoneer. they kept that thing around for ever. and theyre bringing it back! so why kill the xj if theyre gonna bring back its daddy?
why did chrysler kill the cherokee? the comanche made sense from a business standpoint. kill the manche keep the dakota. but why the cherokee? could you guys imagine the possibilities we could have if they kept the cherokee around. we would swap things over to our trucks. new generations of cheromanches. just a thought
